Chevrolet Nova 1969 Description
1969 Chevy Nova Ss 396- 350 HP option* Engine: The engine is an era correct 396/402 Not # matching* Transmissions: ( Missing) original would have been, the Muncie M21* DIfferential: 12 bolt-355 ratio - posi unit* Color: original color was the Maroon / Burgand, with black interoir, and black vinyl top.SS 396 equipment:* Equipped with the SS quick ration, manual steering* Equipped with the 3/8 fuel line, and 5/16 return line ( 350 HP versions had the two line fuel systems. The 375 HP had the single.* Equipped with the original ( still intact) big block dual exhaust hangers. ( see 12 bolt diff. Pic' for verification)* Equipped with the Big block heater core.* Equipped with power disc brakes* Equipped with original manual floor ship cutout location, bench seat.*Equipped with the accurate white stripe SS door panels.
Body & chassis:* Front fenders: easily reusable with lower patch panels installed.* Doors: doors open and close properly. windows work, as they should. You could repair the lower front corners... I would personally install new outer skins.* Rear quarters: the lower rear quarter section should be replaced with new patch panels.the wheels openings need repair on both sides. ( I would not replace complete quarters in my opinion...* The floorpans are in good condition.* The trunk pans are in good condition.* Radiator support needs replacing.
*The vehicle has been in storage for several years. It is in need of a full venture into the restoration world....I have decided to list the vehicle for sale, and focus my efforts on the other (3) restoration ventures, currently in the works.* The car is, sold as is, where is, how is...*if you are not experienced in musclecar restoration ventures, please do not bid on the car...unless your independently wealthy, and pay people to do such projects.* These Nova's are getting difficult to find, in mostly original condition, Not all jacked up, and hacked up, if you get my drift....* The 350 HP versions, are more rare than the 375 HP versions* serious buyers are encouraged inspect the vehicle. I can assist with U Ship transportation etc... if needed.* Reserve the option to end early, also listed locally. Please contact me with further questions. I have tried to describe the vehicle, as accurate as my memory allows.Thank you!
