Chevrolet Blazer 1972 Description

1972 Chevrolet Blazer CST
This was a very nice original, solid, California truck before restoration.
I took this project over as a stalled project when I bought it. It was running driving and had been painted recently.
This Blazer has a very good running 427 Big Block in it. I do not know its history. I do know it runs perfect, cool, smooth. Fires intently, idles smooth with no smoke and solid oil pressure. I recently added a new Edelbrock 750 with electric choke.
It is paired to a Turbo 400 Auto trans that shifts perfectly and pulls hard. The transfer case is original and 4WD is all in good working order.
The truck came from the factory with Power Steering, Power Disk Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Air Conditioning, Cheyenne Trim.
It now has a Ford 8" rear end with Disk Brakes. Hubs are drilled for chevy bolt pattern. So this truck has 4 wheel power disk brakes. That work perfect. Stops very firm and sharp and is proportioned correctly.
In the last month I have replaced the steering wheel, New Optima battery, New BFG 33" tires on Fresh Rally Wheels,( I spent $120 just on new lug nuts).
It has a brand new gas Tank, fuel filler hoses, rubber fuel lines, fuel filter.
The exhaust was done last week. New Dual MagnaFlow Mufflers. Complete job, professionally done and it sounds great. Magnaflow is nice and quiet until you step on it, then it has a nice rumble.
Steering is very nice, front end is tight. Power steering is great with no howl and has a very good turning radius. New Steering Stabilizer.
The body was excellent to begin with. It had one patch professionally done at the bottom of the kick panels. The body work was very good and paint is an 8 or 9 out of 10. It has a few very small nicks from assembly. It was painted inside and out.
All the rubber window gaskets for the removable top and windows and windshield are all new as well as the felts. The truck was disassembled when painted. Most glass is original with windshield having beed replaced.
The AC in in-op. Most is still in the truck and I have the compressor. I also have a few boxes of parts and spares. I do not have the rear spare tire carrier. I do have the brackets. The top is in very good shape and was painted nicely. I do not have the key for the rear top door. It is unlocked.
The rear seat and belts are original and mint. Front seats have been reupholstered. The original console is vey nice. Dash has no extra holes, New dash pad, New carpet and door panels. I have a spare set of new door panels as well. Visors are original and super.
All lights and gauges are working. (except turn signals, I have the new switch, just no time last week to get it installed).
I did just buy a "RetroSound" radio. AM/FM and AUX that fits the original uncut dash. It also has new speakers. Still needs to be wired. New antenna as well.
All exterior trim is new, most emblems, Grill, lenses etc.. The bumpers are originals that were rechromed. I have a pair of new "427" emblems for it, but I did not want to put holes in the body for them, the new owner can decide that.
The truck has a 2" body lift. Probably a spring lift as well at it sits nicely above the 33" tires.
This Blazer drives very well and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
I have Clear, current CA Title in my name in hand. Registered until Sept of 2017 in CA.
I can store for 30 days while shipping arrangements are made. I can ship to port of Oakland / Richmond Ca for $250 and to Los Angeles/ Long beach area for $350.
