Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1986 Description
You Are bidding On a Very Niceoriginal1986 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe. There were only 200 Aerocoupes produced in 1986 . This car is number 147 of the 200 built. 1986 Aerocoupescame in only one color,White with Burgandy interior. All 200 were hand converted and not mass produced. These cars are very rare and near impossible to find in this kind of condition. This car has 62K original miles. Other than one dealer repaint in the early 90s this car is 100 percent original. Still has the original exhaust, original shocks, original headlights, original hoses, original floor mats, and it even comes with the original tires.(very dry rotted). I recently purchased this car from the second owner . He had owned it since 1995. In fact this car has been driven less than 500 miles since 1995. I have replaced needed parts to get it back on the road. I just installed new tires, belts, battery, changed fluids and gave it a tune up. It is ready for the new owner to drive it home. Everything on the car works and the Air conditioning blows nice and cold. I believe you could fly in and drive it home, but it is a 30 year old car and anything can happen. That decision is up to you. Car starts right up and drives very nice and runs nice and cool. The interior on the car is just about perfect. The dash is very nice with NO cracks. No stains or tears anywhere. Carpet is perfect. Still has very nice original GM floor mats.Headliner isperfect. There are a couple small cigarette burns in one spot on the outside lower bolster of drivers seat. The vinyl piping on the outside of the drivers seat back at the very bottomhas a very small spot of wear. Both can be seen very well in the pictures and are veryvery minor. The carwas repainted at the dealer in the early 90s for the typical GM lacquer paint cracks that all these cars get. It is a very nice paint job that is slick. I would rate the paint job better than factory appearance. It is very nice but I would not call it absolutely perfect. I would rate it as very nice. All the jambs are still original paint. The stripes look like new with no tears or damage. Car was purchased new in North Carolina and is 1000 PERCENT RUST FREE. This car has never been taken apart or repaired. The only body work I could find in the wholecar was that the back edge of the drivers door looks to have had a very minor repair. Looks like someone opened the door into something and slightly bent the edge of the door and then they straightened it. I removed the door panel to check the inside and there was absolutely no damage or distortion to be seen. The spare tire has never been on the ground andthe jack and related tools have never been removed. The original Eagle GT tires are included if the new owner wants them. They are very dry rotted and not safe for the road. The aluminum wheels have no damage or curb rashbut the natural aluminum wheel lips could use a good buffing. The car has a TON of original paperwork including the original window sticker, All owners manuals, warranty books, tire warranty, pre delivery check sheet, and a ton of other stuff. (see pictures) This is a very nice car. I would not hesitate to take it to shows. Is it a show car, yes. Will you win first plac, probably not, but it is very very nice.I am selling this car with a very reasonable reserve. I am not one of these people that think an Aerocoupe is worth 20K dollars. This car is located in Greensboro NC just a few miles from PTI airport. I can store the car for 3 weeks after auctions end. I have sold many vehicles and everyone has been very happy. I have 100 percent feedback so feel confident that you will get a very nice car. DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU INTEND TO BUY. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE MONEY BEFORE YOU BID. WINNING BIDDER MUST SEND $500 DEPOSIT BY PAYPAL WITHIN 48 HOURS OF AUCTIONS END. BALANCE DUE WITH 14 DAYS OF AUCTIONS END. CASH OR GREEN US POST OFFICE MONEY ORDERS ONLY. CASHIERS CHECK WILL BE EXCEPTED ONLY IF IT IS FROM A BANK THAT HAS A BRANCH IN GREENSBORO. WE WILL BOTH GO THERE TOGETHER AND CASH IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE WITH THE CAR. NO EXCEPTIONS !
