I am proud (yet sad) to offer for sale my 1987 Chevy V10 long bed 4wd 5.7l throttle body injected pickup for sale. Growing up I always wanted one of these trucks and my dream finally became a reality. Things have recently changed however and I am now needed to sell it. My loss will most definitely be your gain.

About the truck: 1987 Chevrolet V10 long bed 4wd with automatic transmission. The gentleman that I purchased this truck from had previously replaced the engine when I bought it, nd did an amazing job with the swap over. Having been in the automotive industry for 20 years now I have seen some hack jobs when it comes to engine replacements, ut this job was done to the highest degree of professionalism. The engine has roughly 50,000 miles on it and runs like it did when the truck was brand new. Everything about the power train is completely stock and in great working order. The automatic transmission was rebuilt at the time of the engine swap and runs and shifts amazingly. Since I have owned the truck I have installed new spark plugs, ires, ap, nd rotor. I have also replaced the radiator, adiator hoses, nd both drive belts. The truck does have a dual fuel tank system. When I was restoring the truck I did drop both fuel tanks and replaced the fuel sending units and both fuel pumps as well as the fuel tank switch. Both fuel pumps and gauges work perfectly fine.

The exterior of the truck is in amazing shape. Three years ago I sent the truck to a professional local body shop and had the truck completely repainted. The only rust that the truck did have in the cab corners was cut out and new cab corners were welded in. I did have everything out of the cab of the truck at this time and I had the interior of the truck painted to match the exterior color. The truck did receive a small amount of hail damage about 5 months ago to the hood and to the top of the cab. The paint is in great shape and looks awesome though. The truck does have an aftermarket front grill and emblem but I do have the original grill that was repainted to match the exterior paint. I installed new headlamp trim, ront grill trim, heel well molding trim, nd rear tail lamps. This really is a sharp looking truck and I am constantly receiving rave reviews anytime I drive it. I did install a 3inch tough country lift during the process of restoration. I didn’t install spacer blocks to get the height that I was looking for I installed new front and rear leaf springs. The truck received new dual front shocks as well as new rear shocks at this time. I also installed new front and rear brakes. I added new rims and tires to finish it off. The tires are BFG AT 33/10.5/15 and have 9/32 worth of tread remaining. I also had a reflex spray in bed liner installed at this time and as you can see the truck was never used or abused as it is still in great shape.

The interior of the truck is just as nice as the exterior of the truck. I installed a new headliner, ew dash pad, ew ac vents, ew carpet kit and underlayment, ad the seat reupholstered, ew lower door panel carpet, ew door panel felt inserts, ew window switches, ew door lock switches, ew window motors, oor panel arm rests, ody and door side weather strips, indow run channels, urn signal switch, nd tightened the tilt steering mechanism. All of the gauges work perfectly as do the windows and door locks. The vehicle is equipped with an aftermarket CD player that works perfectly as well. Cold ac and hot heater.

I have always kept up with the maintenance on this vehicle. Regular oil changes as well as transmission service, ront differential service, ear differential service, ransfer case service, nd coolant flush. This truck has definitely lived a very pampered life and is in great shape. When you buy this truck you aren’t going to have to spend money getting broken things fixed as I have been very diligent with maintenance and repair. This is a turn key ready vehicle that will turn heads.
