Chevrolet El Camino 1978 Description

Elki has strong 383 Vortec engine with Edelbrock Air gap manifold. After market gauges and Mini tach. No smoke, o knocks. No leaks. Starts right every time. Has 750 Demon Carb. MSD distributor and coil. Turbo 400 tranny with mild shift kit and Hurst shift linkage.Front disk brakes. 9in Ford rear with eaton posi, 1 spline axles and 3:90 gears. Front end in good condition. 87 Monte Carlo SS front end.gives it sleek look with functional cowl hood. K&N Air cleaner.Drives strong and straight. I have never had it on the track. Just a clean attention getting street machine with some punch to it. "Runs great on pump gas. Has Hedman headers with turbo mufflers and pipes all the way to the rear with chrome tips. No leaks in exhaust. Very good looking interior with spare tire cover behind seat. Also, as some small bubbling started on driver side rear behind tire. No major body work required on this truck. Tagged and inspected.

I ran across an A/C compressor that has been rebuilt with new clutch, ulley and coil for a good price. It will go to winner of auction free. Winner just needs the A/C condenser. Saw new ones around $75 on Ebay..... This past weekend we did some body work and paint on some of the flaws on body. We did the most notable bubbling along the lower black stripe. The other little chips off paint are hardly noticeable until you get 4 feet from truck. The little chips from driving are all on the lower black stripe. As you know chips and other stuff are more visableon black paint. I see no problems on the silver paint.
