Chevrolet Corvette 1992 Description
1992 Corvette ZR1Local trade for us, one of those rare finds because I imagine there are not many of these out there. ZR1 Red on Red!
Exterior – There a few minor rock chips on the front of the Corvette and a small scuff on top rear and small chip there as well. I did notice on the driver’s side door area it looked like there was splashes of dirt/mud that did not wash off but I was able to remove it with my finger nail so my guess is just needs a deeper clean in that area. I didn’t notice any other cosmetic issues on the exterior other over all is really good shape.
Interior – Carpet and seats are in great condition looks hardly used, the driver’s seat is showing wear right on the edge is all I could find cosmetic (picture), A/C works good but did not test the heater and all gauges are function plus the information system is working. For the interior, the things I noticed that did not work are the power seats on both sides are failing doesn’t really want to go forward or backwards unless assisted. Radio does not work or turn on, the back-glass hatch opens but will not stay open on its own and last but not least the Glass top will need to be replaced it has spider cracks all through out the top. Those are all the known issues that I could find, if you have questions please don’t hesitate to contact me either by phone or Ebay message.
Mechanical – This is where it does need some TLC, I have uploaded our service inspection report it lists on the things our service department found that need fixed either for reliability or longevity. Please refer to the picture if you have questions do not hesitate to contact me, as of right now it is drivable but not recommended due to the issues. I did drive it to our local park to take pictures the Tire pressure light was on but then went off, the Service Ride Control light did stay on and will need to be checked into. Those were the only two warning lights that came on during my drive.
AutoCheck - Shows 5 Owners and 0 Accidents
I know these are not your everyday corvette’s and this one just needs a good home and someone who has the patience or money to fix it to mint condition. ?
