Documented with date correct engine, riginal trans and rear end.
Built in Norwood as designated by X33 cowl tag. Car also has it's protect-o-plate, arranty card, and owners manual in the original factory sleeve.
The summary listed below shows all the components, ate codes, nd details about the specifics of the car. This 1969 Camaro Z/28 would be ideal for the collector or enthusiast who likes a very nice cars to drive and enjoy. This Camaro runs and drives extremely well. The sound is awesome. Solid lifters and all. The cross ram has been
professional tuned by www.stansrestorations.com (which requires the headers) to perform correctly.
Super detailed DZ engine 1969 Z/28 Camaros are rather hard to find. Especially like this one having limited use of reproduction items, his is a true survivor. (See photos) You can view cars at auction and read how all the cars are original engine cars. We know this is the original transmission and rear-end to car. We also photographed the engine and transmission codes.
NOTE: The next time someone offers you a carand declares it to be an original Z/28, sk them to sign a statementthey 100% guarantee it or your money back. I will.
Very desirable Lemans Blue with white stripes. An excellent color combination for any muscle car. The car maintains all of its original sheet metal (except trunk), loors, uarters, oors, ood, enders etc., ithout evidence of any rust repair or panel replacement. Trunk is an NOS Service replacement that was changed out over its life. The car as painted over 20 years ago and has been recently wet-sanded and re-cleared for a mirror shine. The paint is super nice and appears like an original survivor. There is a small mark on the rear quarter from a scratch with a slight bubble in the paint that doesn't come up well in photos. The front grill has ahardline crack by the passenger headlight.
This particular Camaro has a mostly original interior with exception of the dash pad, arpet and restored factory rosewood wheel . The factory tachometer, lock and console with gauges all work properly, and the original pedals and wiring harness speak of how low mileage of a car this truly is. The factory AM radio does not work, ut the original AM antenna mass is also on the car and hard to find. To the best of our knowledge the ZL-2 Cowl Induction System was added to this car at some time early in its life. The hood is an original GM Cowl Induction Hoodthat has been modified to be a Steel Cross ram hood (inside opening is different). Cross ram steel hoods sell for $7500, riginals over $18k. The cross ram is an exact reproduction from Heartbeat Camaros, nd built at the same foundry as the original. The carbs are service replacement and brand new. This entire setup on the vehicle adds approximately $17-25k on the top of standard Z/28.
I would score this car a 8 on a scale of 1-10. 10 cars are nut and bolt restorations and this car didn't need a nut and bolt restoration as it is a super nice survivor with and clean car to begin with. This is why I mentioned that it would be a wonderful car for a guy who wants to have an original Z/28 and still enjoy taking it on the road for spin now and then. The car drives nicely as it should with a complete drivetrain restoration completed less than50 miles ago. This including removal of the sub frame, ront cap and rear end, leaning (car did not need blasting, hould tell you how clean and rust free underneath is), nd then reassembled with original parts that we cleaned and replated proper colors and correct bolts, ith minimal use of restoration parts(ie wiring, oses and clamps).
I am open trade offers for only a 1969 Pace Car + Cash. Should be in similar condition. Trade value $45-55k.
