Chevrolet Camaro 1967 Description
RS SS in great running and driving condition. My dependable occasional driver since I bought it in Sept. 2013. Originally white with older black lacquer and numerous touch ups. Ten footer. No rust! Strong 383 stroker with rollers, aluminum heads, MSD ignition, Holley Street Avenger 0-80770 with billet fuel line, Aluminum radiator, Hooker headers, new exhaust, Five speed Tremec with Hurst shifter, Centerforce clutch, 373 posi with factory traction bar, quick ratio power steering, power brakes, front discs, American Racing wheels, new tires on front and good tread on back, new gas tank and new wiring by American Autowire and new battery. An original deluxe interior that now has procar buckets and different rear seat covering. Car still retains deluxe door panels. Console with gauges and factory dash tach. All gauges work. Car runs cool under any conditions. RS headlight mechanisms are new and work as they should. Doors open and close as they should with no sag. Windows roll up and down as they should.
I cannot verify the odometer mileage as shown. True mileage is unknown.
I have not had any issues with this car. The mechanical upgrades were all done by the previous owner and I have most of his receipts. The car is mechanically excellent including engine, transmission, rear end, cooling system and suspension. It is, as you would expect, very powerful and fast.
The previous owner was a 65 year old retired contractor. When I purchased the car it had shorter springs on the front, shock extenders on the rear and chrome mud flaps. He told me he wanted an old school look. I replaced the front springs with factory correct ones and removed the mud flaps. The shock extenders are still in place.
Email me for any questionson areas that I may not have covered. I believe I have described the vehicle honestly. If you shouldbe the winning bidderand find that it does not live up to my description, you are under no obligation to complete the purchase.I suggest that you either come and look at the car prior to the end of the auction or if not convenient, hire an inspector. The car is located and stored in my farm shop in the Roanoke Virginia area and available for inspection on short notice. It is typically started and driven once a week. I am selling this car in as is condition with no warranty. If sold the total amount of the purchase price must be delivered in seven days from the end of the auction. A clear North Carolina title is ready to be transferred to the new owner. Local pickup or other transportation to be determined and paid for by the purchaser. If paid for by check or bank funds, either will have to be cleared by my bank before the vehicle will be delivered. The other option and preferred one would be a wire transfer of funds.
Note! The car is located on our farm in the Roanoke Va. area and not Goldsboro NC.
On Nov-10-16 at 18:19:17 PST, seller added the following information:An apology to all lookers. I forgot to mention in the description that the previous owner removed the heater core and housing. This has not been an issue for me but could be for others.
