Chevrolet C-10 1970 Description
Let me start off by saying this truck will come with a bill of sale only. The truck was inherited by the gentleman I purchased it from and the title was lost in the estate. I was iffy when I purchased it so I had a VIN search ran on the truck and a new title can be obtained in VA as well as the other 49 states. Now how to do that in your state I don't know but here in VA it takes about 2 months and you have a title. I do have a bunch of the original paperwork even the original bank loan documents from 1970, the owners manual and registration cards from VA.
Now if your still looking this is one of the most rare 67-72 c10's built. It is a factory 4wd short wheel base stepside truck 1 of only 1629 built in 1970 and is in pretty decent shape. The 350ci V8 runs GREAT the 3 speed transmission shifts GREAT the transfer case functions as it should the brakes work GREAT, heat works. The truck really does run amazing starts without having to pump the gas and idles smooth. Would make an awesome patina farm style truck as is. Thebody of the truck is in verygood shape no rust above the windshield, frame is solid, cab corners look ok floors aregood. The interior is fairseat needs covered and carpet but everything functions as it should and don't look awful but as rare as this truck is it needs to be redone and saved. The bad it does need rocker panelson both sides andI would put inner rockers on it to the existing ones are not to bad but not perfect. The bed itself has some rust but is mostly solid. The wood floor in the bed looks good. I have a few 60-72 c10's and have never seen another one like it is a true "K" VIN truck not a conversion and well worth the time and effort of acquiringa title and restoring it back to itsglory.I have way to many projectsand this one is just sittingpatently waiting its turn to go under the knife so I figured I would try to free up some funds and see if anyone is interested in it as it sits.
This is an extremely easy restoration project and completed is worth between 25-40k dollars all day. The rarity factorand how nice of a restoration could drive that number up substantially. That said I do not have to sell it so bid to win. These are to hard to findand itdoes not eat. If I take the time to straighten out the title the price will increase dramatically
So here is your opportunityto purchase 1of 1629SWB4WD c10's made in 1970,everyone has 2wd trucksbut seriously how many of these have you actually seen for sale?
