Chevrolet C-10 1980 Description
Here is your chance to own a freshly restored 1980 Chevy C10. This truck has a silverado trim badge so it came with factory air conditioning, power windows and locks, clock, and tilt wheel. The truck had a newer 5.3l LM7 put in about 2 years ago and runs strong and smooth; never had an issue. This summer I had a brand new 500+hp 700r4 installed with a manual lock up; shifts firm. A pair of racing magnaflow mufflers and H-pipe give it a smooth idle and sound but isnt too aggressive. When I bought the truck back in early 2014 I immediattely started the body work. For sheet metal it has new front fenders, front fascia, front bed panel and driver side floor pan. Original cab, doors and bed sides. I decided to paint the truck with factory colors for this body style but not something you see everyday; Meduim lime with polar white strip(same color as the Gas Monkey C10) Complements everywhere I go. The paint is straight and shines(overall 8-10 Everypicture shown was taken this week) The front of the hood and behind the rear wheels there are bubbles appearing that will need to be addressed in the near future(see pictures) Also has a couple minor scratches on passenger door and bed rail that didn't show up in the picutres(Never had anypoint poin them out) All new factory trim, grill, emblem, door handles and tail lights with Chevy sport mirrors and euro side markers, blinkers and headlights give it a subtle custom look. Original cab trim. The suspension is all new with KYB Monotube shocks, western chassis flip kit, rear c notch, 3 inch drop spindles, and 2.5 inch high performance springs(have upgraded sway bar but never installed 5.5-8 inch drop)Rides smooth and straight; could daily if desired. Comes with a set of Ridler 695's(20x8.5 and 20x10 with 75% tred) Have original wheels as well. Frame was painted with frame paint and has no rust. Interior was done to look original with all the parts coming from LMC. Looks simple and clean. Has aftermarket tachometer, retrosound speaker and steering wheel. Most of the gauges don't work(Dakota Digital Gauges where the last on the list but never got to it)Dynamat was installed on the floor to give it a quite ride. Hush mate was used on doors and headliner(drives very quite around town) Never had an issue with this truck and I'm sad to see it go. And also please call me before bidding just so we can talk one on one. I feel I did a very well job describing the vehicle I think I could do it much better over the phone just because there is so much done to this truck thats not even listed. Thanks**
