Chevrolet C-10 1981 Description
1981 Chevy C-10 Pickup 2wd short bed for sale
This truck is beautiful, award winning, and very fun to drive! The engine is a brand new (less than 100 miles) Chevy performance 350V8 crate engine with a Spectre chrome air cleaner, and lots of additional chrome add-on’s. It has a rebuilt four-speed manual transmission with the compound gear, steel headers and 2 1/2-inchcustom exhaust. The custom exhaust vents out both sides of the truck through custom built stainless steel exhaust tips. It has a Holley street dominator high rise aluminum intake and a four barrel Edelbrock carb, factory AC and heater. The front suspension has 3 1/2 inch drop spindles and Moroso shocks. The rear axle has been flipped on top of the springs and drop blocks were added for stance. It has 20-inch chrome Eagle alloy rims with Hankook 275/40R20 low profile tires. The original gas tank and gas door was removed. A new tank was installed under the bed that can be accessed through a custom pop up gas door in the bed of the truck. On the body of the truck the front marker lights were shaved as well as the door handles and adoor popper kit was installed. The hood was replaced with a 2 inch steel cowl hood. The roll pan, tail gate, front bumper and front valance were also hand built. The tail lights are out of a 1960's Corvair van and were molded into the body. Mirrors out of a 1990's Toyota pickup truck were added and all the exterior lighting was changed out for LED's including the lights for the rear license plate. The headlights and front blinkers are hidden behind a full length billet grill. The silver paint is a custom mix and hassix coats of clear on top of it. The satin black stripe was painted on afterwards to give the truck a muscle car look. The bench seat was replaced with driver side powered bucket seats out of a 90’s Pontiac and the center console was hand built with a speaker box that holds a 10-inch kicker. All the gauges were replaced and put into a hand built dash that connects to hand built trim that ties into both doors. This truck was built six years ago but has been well taken care of. It has a couple of small blemishes in the body with a tiny bit of surface rust inside the doors on the bottom.Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for shipping. Paypal preferred, but other forms such as cashiers check or money order are acceptable, however funds will have to clear before vehicle is loaded. Winning bidder will pay a $500 non-refundable deposit upon winning the auction. This truck is also for sale locally and seller reserves the right to end auction at any time if purchased locally. Thanks for bidding and good luck!
