Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1971 Description

This is a real 1971 SS454 with build sheet. This car is highly optioned with buckets seats with drivers side power (works like it should), console, tilt steering column, tach and gauges, power windows, power locks, power trunk, deluxe light group, 12 bolt 3.31 posi rear end, F41 suspension, level ride control, rear defrost, rear bumper pad, and is a factory AC car, see build sheet for more info.Sadly the original 454 is not in the car and is long gone years ago. Car has a 1971 402 out of a Chevelle that is built for performance. It has 12.5 to 1 forged pistons, Crower camshaft (have cam card), bottom end is balance. Heads are closed chambered 396/427 heads with roller rockers. Intakes is a Performer RPM topped with a Holley 850 double pumper carb. MSD 6AL ignition with 2 step. Hooker super comp headers with flow master mufflers. TH400 transmission built with a 4000 stall converter. The rear end is the original housing but has Strange Engineering axles with Strange Engineering spool with Richmond 4.56 gears and long wheel studs. ( I have the original Posi unit).Has a Holley fuel pump and canister fuel filter with a drop sump in the factory gas tank. The interior is not all torn up, there is 2 tears in the side of the drivers seat (one on a seam and the other in the side panel). Console has a B&M pro stick shifter in it but I have the original horse shoe shifter.
There is rust around the wheel wells in the rear, door look solid, rockers are solid, drivers side front fender has had lower patch installed, passenger fender has been patched with apiece of fabricated metal but I have the lower patch (same type that was installed on the drivers side). Interior floors are solid, trunk floor has some in the edges at the inner wheel housings. Hood is a fiberglass 4 inch cowl that is pin on. The inner wheel wells up front are missing and so is the load level compressor. The AC box is not under the hood but I do have it.
The car has been like this for a very long time and it deserves to be put back to its glory. This car is not cut up and butchered, just an old hot rod with some of the originalparts missing that could use some love and attention.
No sure why ebay's system is turning the pictures sideways so I apologize for the frustration it must be trying to see them.
500.00 due after the auction ends and the rest in cash in person or a head of time verified cashiers check before the car leaves my possession. Please don't show up and expect me to take a personal check or cashiers check that can not be verified by my bank. If you are having the car picked up, it must be paid in full before it is loaded.
Car will not be relisted if reserve is not met and there will be no sale after auction ends if reserve is not met. Reserve is less than what I can part this car out for and please don't ask for the reserve or a buy it now as I let my auction run to the end to be fair to every one that is interested.
