Chevrolet Other 1957 Description
The 1957 Chevy 150 2 Door Handyman Wagon was a low production working wagon, and not many survived. This is a rust free example of a southwest car.
This is an older restoration of a really straight car with many GM OEM components used.
93 LT1 Corvette engine runs great with new tune up. The 700R transmission just had a performance rebuild. 12 bolt rear end and front disc brakes. With new 500 series steering box and new upper control arms with built in 5 degrees caster, this car drives late model without the loose feel of a typical 605 box conversion. New Bilstein shocks and front and rear sway bars make it a great handling car.
New Coker supplied 225R70-15 BF Goodrich Silvertown thin stripe whitewall radials on 8” Corvette rally rims. It has air conditioning, PS, PB, and cruise, and early GM AM/FM/Cassette/CB radio with power antenna. The Cadillac power seats are very comfortable; has GM tilt column. Interior is in great shape, rear carpet in cargo is area is sun faded.
The wiper motor did not work and was removed. I have a newly rebuilt unit to go with the car, but not installed.
This car runs cool and the AC blows cold. The paint is very nice, not show car perfect, but shows very well. Again, no rust. All glass is good; chrome is all very nice.
This is a great car for cruising and road trips and is sorted out. And, you just don’t seem them very often.
