Chevrolet C-10 1977 Description
For sale is a beautiful, ostly-restored 1977 Chevrolet C10 Stepside. Nearly every portion of this truck has been gone through and brought up to modern specifications. For the 4 years that I have owned it, he truck has gone through an essentially frame-off restoration. It is exceptionally clean and has been well cared for. NO RESERVE The interior is equipped with completely new, EM-grade components. This being said, ll panels and plastics have absolutely zero cracks or instances of color-fading. All weather stripping has been replaced along with the windshield. All door pins, ushings, eals, atches, nd hardware have been replaced. The truck is equipped with factory air conditioning. The truck is also outfitted with a professional Alpine stereo system. In order to maintain the original-look of the rest of the truck, hese speakers (two 6x9 coaxial speakers, 10" type S subwoofer, nd a 1400 watt amplifier) discretely lie behind the seat. The detachable face head unit is Bluetooth capable and has USB capabilities. As denoted by the pictures, here is a fair-sized coolant stain on the carpet. This was the result of a blown heater core which obviously has since been replaced. Unlike most other trucks of this age, he entire chassis has been serviced and equipped with PST poly graphite components. As represented by the pictures, he truck has also been lowered. The rear is lowered approximately 5" (from stock height) with custom drop-hangers and brand new custom leaf springs. These leaf springs still maintain the "heavy-half" capabilities that the truck was originally built with back in 1977. This being said, he truck is equipped with a 12 bolt rear end as well as 3.41 gears in the rear. The front is lowered around 4 to 4.5" using drop springs (1" smaller than stock) and custom 3 inch drop-spindles. All brake components have been replaced in the front and rear as well as all steering linkages and bushings (tie rods, itman arms, tc.) This truck chassis handles as though it was a brand new vehicle. The truck's bed has white-oak strips as well as red, inc coated hardware. While the truck is 100% garage-kept, abitual driving of the truck has worn down certain areas on a few of the boards. While the majority of the bed still looks great, t is apparent that the lacquer is wearing on a few spots. The majority of the chrome is either new or polished. Both bumpers have been replaced with new ones and have no marks, ents, r scratches. All original emblems are present. The tires have plenty of tread and reside on refinished 8" truck Rally wheels with new chrome beauty rings. The paint is pretty good, /10, nd is almost 100% rust-free. I have posted a picture of the one spot with minimal rust. With regard to the body, t is not 100% perfect. There are several small dents/dings in isolated areas of the truck. The top of the cab does have a few spots of minor hail damage. Aside from this, he truck has a few areas of paint chip- some of these areas have been shown in the pictures and throughout the video. All this aside, any people still comment on how good the paint looks. This is shown at the end of the YouTube video posted in the link below. The red paint extends across the engine compartment, oor jams, nd throughout the interior. With regard to the engine, he truck is outfitted with a stout 350 Goodwrench crate motor with plenty of power. When the engine was installed, lmost everything else was installed factory new as well. This includes the water pump, lternator, elt, oses, lugs, park plug wires, adiator, tc. The engine has the following modifications:- Brand new 670 CFM Holley Street Avenger carburetor (purchased November 2015)- 269 int/270 exh Comp Cams Hydraulic Camshaft- Comp Cams Dual Roller Timing Chain - HEI distributor- Edelbrock Performer EPS intake- Headman Competition HeadersThe engine itself has around 7,500 miles on it. It also has a Holley electric fuel pump and Interstate battery for reliability purposes. The engine feeds into dual 2-chamber Thrush mufflers and produces an extraordinary resonant sound. The transmission is a non-factory TH350 with installed shift kit. Both the engine and transmission have minor leaks from the oil pans. All in all, he truck is in excellent condition with few issues. It is in remarkable condition for being a 38 year old truck. This truck cannot move with me across the country to Colorado and must find a new home soon. You will NOT find a nicer classic truck for this price! I don't need help selling the vehicle nor am I interested in accepting long distance cashiers' checks. Serious buyers are more than welcome to come see and drive the truck YouTube link:
