Chevrolet C-10 1973 Description
I have a 1973 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe half ton pickup here for your viewing pleasure!! It is a long box two wheel drive factory hot rod. This truck still only has 53,300 miles on it and has not been messed with or modified. It was bought brand new in 1973 by a man who retired that same year. He used this as his "fishing" truck. When not in use it sat in his garage under a car cover. The inside of the box had a piece of house carpet that was cut to fit and turned upside over, so the box is literally still in new condition other than a fewscratches and scuffs. It looks 6 months old, not 44 years old!! The body is in amazing condition to say the least. The outside of the drivers door was repainted when the truck was very new due to a scrape though its virtually undetectable. Also the inside of the tailgate was painted at some point also. Besides that, the truck wears all original paint and is in amazing condition. Its buffed up andwaxed to a high shine. There has never been a drop of rust in this truck. All of the trim is straight, bumpers are straight and unharmed. I did replace the original windshield just recently due to a crack. The interior is as nice as the exterior. The original seat shows minimal wear on the drivers side seating area, the dash pad has a crack and has some fading, the carpet is original and near mint, even thesunvisors are still wrapped in bubblewrap. There is no fading on the gauges, no speaker holes, the ashtray is as new, and all literature is still in the glovebox and in mint condition. The truck retains it's original 454 ci. big block, TH400 and 12 bolt rear. The heads were rebuilt and a new cam and lifters installed sometime back before I purchased thepickup. It leaks and smokes no oil or any other fluids. The trans shiftsperfectly. Also there is a new aluminized exhaust on the truck and new tires and wheels. I have included a picture of the SPID sticker which shows options. It does have power steering, brakes, tilt wheel, full trim package etc. The color is called Spanish Gold and is beautiful. Its a little darker than the Orche color of 1972.Ifyou've been looking for the tightest, cleanest, mostunmodified 1973 Chevrolet Pickup out there, you've found it. There are no LMCChinese parts on this baby! its all GM. The doors close and sound as new, everything works other than the clock, and I have never messed with it. Any questions feel free to askemail, call or text at 406-208-9405 Buyer isresponsible for all shipping charges though I'll be happy to assist in loading the truck onto a semi.Youwon't be unhappy with this truck, I own a lot of these old GM vehicles from this era, and this is as nice as they come in all original!
