NO RESERVE AUCTION!
Has up for auction a rare 1962 Corvair Spyder convertible!
With less available for sale, the Corvair is becoming more and more popular as collector cars. The turbo Spyders are even more rare and are a totally different driving experience.
This Corvair 900 Turbo Spyder came to us from a local collector who bought it for his daughter ten years ago. She rarely drove the car and always kept it in a heated garage. Everything except a repaint is original to the car. The manual convertible top is in excellent condition.
The exterior and underside are totally rust free. No accidents or damage history.
The paint finish shows very nice. No nicks, scraps nor blemishes anywhere. The chrome, glass, tires and wheels are in great condition. The interior is completely original to the car. No rips or tears of any kind. The dash and gauge package are also great and in working order. Evene the original radio works.
The original Spyder 900 series 150 horse power turbo runs quiet and strong. No oil leaks or blow back. There’s a vast difference in performance when getting behind the wheel of a common Corvair and the coveted Turbo Spyder. The four speed manual transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears. Driving this car was a real treat. She goes fast, straight and stops on a dime.
This is a great investment carat a very affordable pricethat is continually rising in collector value.
