1985 El Camino, ( PROJECT )
This is a Project that I started about 2 years ago and never finished.
We started by Changing the Frame, Body Bushings, Brake lines, sway bushings, brakes, etc. Entire Front end, Hood, Fenders, Core support, Motor,
Basically everything from the firewall forward we had to change. Old motor was a frozen 305? We got a Running 350 from another El Camino and freshened it up with new gaskets and seals, Plugs wires, I think a timing chain.
Then we played with Paint ( Base coat clear ) Not the best and could use a Buffer, But still looks Ok.
So at this point the Car does start and run, will drive around the yard, BUT the Alignment was never done after installing new control links. Tires are Shot, Good for rollers only. Needs all interior including weather stripping, carpet, headliner etc. I do have a seat and panels But they may need reupholstered. See Pics, Bed never got sprayed, it was going to be the spray in bed liner, Never happened.
I think I have most or all the trim, Plus if you want it, I have a 1979 Parts car that can go with the sale if you want it.
The parts car is Frame, Suspension, some interior parts. No Motor. No Transmission. No Tires / Wheels. See pics. I do have Good titles for Both Cars.
