Chevrolet Silverado 1500 1992 Description
Super Rare 1992 Chevrolet Z71 Regular-Cab Silverado Sportside
Super clean, and quite possibly one of the nicest 1992 Silverado Sportsides on the planet. These Z71 Regular-Cab trucks are becoming extremely hard to find in this condition. And as added value, this truck includes paperwork back to the day it was new and delivered to Hudiburg Chevrolet in Fort Worth, Texas. As a result, this rare truck then lived its entire life in the south.
This truck has undergone a partial ground up type restoration including a recent professional repaint in beautiful factory original Slate Metallic. Although the odometer shows 130K miles, the previous owner is a Service Manager of a major car dealership in Northwest Arkansas and did rebuild the original engine 12,000 miles ago.
Here’s a brief list of new parts:
Grill, headlights, turn signals, bumpers, mirrors, Monroe Reflex shocks, brakes, exhaust, windshield, carpet, Lloyd floor mats, rear bed mat. Other tasteful upgrades include factory wheel/tire take-offs from a 2015 Z71 Silverado with matching spare, and front end leveling to get the proper stance.
Everything works as it should on this Classic Z71 to include all power options, window/locks, cruise control, radio/equalizer, clock, interior lights, headlights, turn signals, under hood light, etc. Air conditioner/heater work great. Has correct and original jack and spare tire accessories behind the seat right from the factory. This Silverado drives and shifts as it should and the 25 year old engine compartment is very clean and would display well at any car show.
Recent bumper to bumper service to include air filter, oil/filter change (synthetic), fuel filter, transmission filter and kit, transfer case, rear-end.
This rare and beautiful example of quality GM engineering is officially a 25 year-old “antique”, a major plus in many states for licensing and insurance purposes. This Silverado has a ton of paperwork back to the day it was new and comes with a clean CarFax provided by the previous seller.
Again, this is a super clean, hard to find, 1992 Chevrolet Regular-Cab Silverado Sportside Z71, and quite possibly one of the nicest on the planet.
And to repeat a quote from this year’s Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, AZ, (in regard to rising collector truck value) “this is the year of trucks, trucks, trucks”.
Clear and clean Arkansas Title is in hand. Truck is sold 'as is' with no warranty.
