Chevrolet Corvette 1975 Description

One year only, RARE Medium Saddle Metallic Paint onDeluxe Saddle Leather Interior. 4 Speed with Lock Out Reverse Transmission. All Power Options. This car stops people in their tracks. It is a rare survivor. I have not seen another Corvette in this color combination for sale or on the road since I have owned the car.
Exterior:
  • Paint is very nice driver condition 8 out of 10.
  • Body very nice, no cracks or evidence of repair.
  • White Vinyl top very nice and the painted hard top is equally as nice.
  • Bumpers Front and Rear very nice.
  • Grill is nice as well.
  • Door handles in new show condition.
  • Floor Pans are very solid with zero issues.
  • Overall Body fitment and lines are fantastic. Doors and clamshell open and shut flawlessly.
Interior:
  • Near new Seat Covers and Foam. No flaws whatsoever.
  • Carpet is very nice with no rips or tears as are the floor mats.
  • Dash is original in nice condition.
  • Factory Tilt / Telescopic wheel in excellent shape.
  • Gauges nice working and appearance other than the clock which does not work.
  • Seat belts correct and in great working condition.
  • Door panels are nice with a couple of small places that you have to look for to notice.
  • Windshield glass is good, Power Windows go up and down quickly. Plastic and glass in tops is nice as well.
  • Dash / Courtesy lights all work as they should.
  • Radio is after market Retro Sound AM/FM that looks extremely nice in the dash. Looks like it belongs. New speakers were installed in the dash with the new radio.
  • Console is very nice along with the shift boot.
Suspension:
  • Front and Rear Corvette Alloy 15 x 8's with 245/60/15 TARadials 75% Tread.
  • Frame is solid as a rock with no rust that I or mechanics that have attended to the car have found anywhere.
  • Front and Rear Suspension is very tight.
  • 4 Wheel Disc Brakes stop very straight with no issues.
Drive Train:
  • Engine Matching VIN 432873 Code CHA 1975 350 c.i. Stated 165 HP. The engine was rebuilt at some point and was balanced. It has a mild cam.
  • Transmission is the original Warner Wide Ratio 4 speed.
  • I had Dual Exhaust installed by the best muffler shop in Chattanooga with Flowmasters and Hi-Flow cats. The car sounds absolutely fantastic but not annoying. People say it sounds like a corvette should.
  • The car does not drip or leak a drop of any kind of fluid whatsoever.
  • The car is nearly as clean underneath as on top with correctly painted components.
Overall:
  • This car is a true survivor and has to my knowledge been in the NorthAlabama, SE Tennessee area for its entire lifespan. I do not believe there is any rust in the car whatsoever.
  • It has no major issues that I know of and runs and drives like a new car.
  • Things like key buzzer, lock out reverse, tilt / telescopic wheel, quick headlight doors, interior lights, speedometer, all work like the day it rolled out of the showroom.
  • The car starts first time every time. Get in hit the key and hit the road.
Is it perfect? No. The car is after all 41 years old. I consider myself very particular and I am much more critical of my cars than most people.
I have owned quite a few classic cars over the years but I am far from being an expert. That being said, here are known issues that I can point to:
  • The clock does not work.
  • The A/C does not blow cold. It barely cooled when I first got the car. I never used the AC so sometimes I went year or more before thinking to check it again and it is not cooling at all.
  • The Tach runs backwards. It needs some sort of circuit panel part to repair it. It never bothered me so I have not fixed it.
  • The paint has a blemish here and there. As I said at the beginning of the ad, it is a good driver quality job. I had the paint professionally buffed and waxed last year and in my opinion, she stands tall from 6 feet away. I love the color of this car. You likely won't see another one anywhere.
Why am I selling? I am selling the car to downsize the number of cars in the garage and trying to reduce the number of toys in my collection. This will make someone a great car as an investment that you can actually enjoy driving without worrying if a bird poops on the windshield while you are cruising down the road.
In my opinion, and based on what I paid for the car when I bought it, the starting price is well below what it is worth. Please do not contact me with offers lower than the starting price. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION! Don't bid unless you plan to follow thru and complete the sale. I will require a $2000 deposit within 48 hours and you must have plans in place to pick the car up or arrange shipping pickup with 7 days. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I have a clear Tennessee Title in my name to the car. I am not a dealer and this is my personal car. Thanks for your interest and good luck!
I can be reached at 423.432.3002 or thru this ad for questions.
