I bought out a large GM car collection recently, I’m selling some of them, this is one of those. This truck was born and remained in California from 1966-2017 until I brought it to WA state. This truck was built in 2002, barely driven and stored inside until I bought it.We brought it back to life at my shop, we have it running/driving, ready for the new owner to finish. This truck has a lot of money spent, excellent body and frame, and it is a factory short bed pickup as proven by the VIN #.Companies popping up all over converting long to short bed in the 3-4k range as shorties are getting so hard to find.Get the real deal factory short bed. This truck is a project, ready to drive up and down the street, not ready for interstate travel. MECHANICAL
Built Big Block 454. The 454 was built in 2002 with very few miles on it.We estimate 525-550HP, told high grade internals, I pulled the valve cover, has roller rockers, noisy gear drive, Mallory HEI ignition, Edelbrock high rise intake. We put on a new high dollar Demon mechanical secondary double pumper. This is a high-perf carb with no choke. We compression and leak down tested this motor, came out perfect.I can’t be sure on all the internal goodies unlessI take the motor apart, but I’ve heard hundreds of BBC’s in my life, this one is a monster. TH-400 automatic trans with shift kit built same time as motor, excellent condition, but has a pan seal leak.Truck is lowered and C-notched.We checked all fluids, everything was super clean, we replaced the engine oil, just added some tranny fluid as well as others.New battery, electric fan, Monster tach.
BODY
The body and frame are in excellent condition. The paint is flaking off. This C10 got a mini tub which allows a large rear tire to support the high HP.The current wheels have the wrong off-set for this truck, they need to be changed out. I took a myriad of pictures on the lift with theflash on, please check them all out and determine condition for yourself. 1963-72 GM trucks are about the cheapest vehicle you can buy to restore as there are numerous companies making any part you can think of, they have been popular for many years.
This truck is an excellent start, and a steal at under 10k.I have a CA clean/clean title from 2003 in hand, please watch the video for more info.I accept bank to bank wire, cashiers check, or cash In person within 3 days closed auction to my US Bank business account only.I’m a licensed vintage car appraiser, I find no offense in you hiring someone during not after the auction to check this truck out for you.You buy it through eBay, you own it, I accept no excuses for non-payers and will chase you for payment. I have an excellent shipping broker whom I’ve worked with for years, I will pass on his info or work with your shipper. Quote for buyer only, shipping paid to them only. Vehicle andtitle leave my possession after cleared payment in full only. Thanks!
