Chevrolet Camaro 1981 Description

Having listed this before the following information came forth by a collector who "read" the body plate. Built in Los Angeles Ca. on April 4- 1981 which was also the last day of production for this car. It was painted with a Gold water based paint (experimental at that time) had the tan dash and camel cloth interior. Was a GM Brass hat demo sent to the San Diego, a. Chevrolet DSO. It was built with power windows but not power locks. (Somewhere down the line windows were changed to manual). Has A/C tilt and cruise. It had the gold insert N-90 aluminum wheels. It was a vin "L" 4bbl carb with turbo 350 trans. The axle was a 3:26 posi unit (still is). It is a true "8" Z-28. (I am informed for Calif. the "8" denotes a true Z in that State.) Including GM there were three owners before myself the fourth owner. The body plate is included in the pictures for your perusal and you can do that hunt for yourself.I have had this car for many years. Built it for my wife who being an over the road trucker rarely got to drive it. It was built to go fast and I figure there might be around 1500 to maybe 2000 miles on a store bought crate engine. It is topped off with an edlebrock 4bbl carb. has headers and cooled by a Champion four core radiator. Interior is a kit from one of those after market shops on line. Tires are H rated Fusions with about 200 miles on them. Has a new powerbrake booster and brakes. Sale also comes with the Original air induction hood. I repainted the car with a Gold that was sold to me as original for the car. But since it wasn't waterbased I guess I got took. This will be the last time I am offering this vehicle. I am paying off vets bills for my private animal shelter. But I am not giving the car away. Will talk if a fair offer is mentioned. Thank you.
