Chevrolet Camaro 1968 Description

This Camaro is a brand new build. Body has new quarters, floor pans, trunk pan, rockers, new trunk lid, fenders, hood, 69 taillight panel and front lower valance. Door handles have been shaved with Dakota Digital poppers and cowl vent closed. Firewall and bottom of hood have been smoothed out and finished with paint graphics. Paint is all custom with hood and side graphics wrapping in door jambs.

Car has all new bolts, screws, weather stripping, fuel lines, ss brake lines, trim & switches. Entire car is wired with a Ron Francis wiring harness. Has new rear bumper, billet taillights, and hood hinges. Raingear hidden wiper system helps to clean up firewall.

Engine is a 6.0 LS2 with a mild cam using PSI wiring and is computer tuned. Engine is cooled with a Griffin 4 core aluminum radiator with custom aluminum shroud and electric fan.Front drive system is Street and Performance Chrome LS series Vette wide-style including chrome A/C compressor and alternator.

Transmission is a Tremic 6 speed with a Hurst Billet Plus shifter, LS7 clutch and flywheel. I used a Muscle Rod LS swap kit with ceramic coated headers. Exhaust is Magnaflow stainless steel with X pipe. Drive shaft is a Denny’s Aluminum which is coupled to a Strange Aluminum 9” with 4:10 gears and a limited slip.

Brakes are all Wildwood with 6 piston calipers and 13” rotors in front with 4 piston calipers and 12” rotors in rear. Brake master cylinder and booster are chrome from Right Stuff Detailing. Wheels are Foose Knuckle 18x8 with 245-40-18 in front and 18x12 with 315-30-18 in rear. Rear housing has been narrowed and has 31 spline Moser axles. Car has Detroit Speed mini tubs and core support close-out.

Suspension has Ridetech Air Bar 4 link in rear and Detroit Speed front control arms. Front also has Ridetech Muscle Bar and True-Turn kit which eliminates bump steer. Suspension has a Ride Pro air ride system with Shockwave 7000 series shocks and electronic control. Steering is through a new ACR Performance Steering gear and Ididit tilt steering column.

Interior has front power seats and rear seats from 2006 GTO with custom covers and custom console. Dash is modified and has Vintage Air with Streamline controls. Instruments are Dakota Digital VHX series. Has power windows, new door panels, carpet, headliner, dash pad and entire interior is covered with Dynamat Extreme.
