Chevrolet Other Pickups 1954 Description

I've got a 1954 Chevy 3100 sitting on a 1998 long wheelbase S10 frame. Kept it all simple as far as looks. Just wanted a cool old shop truck look. Had planned on clear coating and putting a logo on the door but never got around to it. Pictures do no justice for the truck. Not a show truck but it's dirty and weather has no been good to get it cleaned up. Truck drives awesome. Just like what you would expect from a 1998 drive train. Power steering and power disc brakes up front along with modern suspension and sway bars make it a blast to cruse. Spent 6k plus the the S10 just getting the swap done. It was done by a local guy that has done a bunch of them the same way and does a great job. No back yard hack job by any means. It's a good solid body with the only bad rust through the metal is bottom of drivers door. Everything else is surface rust. Heat works good windows roll up and down with easy and doors shut good. Has a good sounding radio and speakers that make it nice when riding down the road. Has a nice comfortable seat and cool floor shifter. Wheels I wanted to keep old school so went with Keystone classics. Tires are all new. Motor came from a 83 C10 and odometer showed 77k miles and guy said that was correct milesfor motor. Since then I'd say it's had about 15-20k put on it. Motor is a 350 and mainly stock. Runs perfect and idols smooth. Only upgrades are the edelbrock intake edelbrock 650 carb longtube headers Accel could and distributor. Truck starts with ease and with a quick warm up runs great no matter how cold it is out. Trans is a good firm shifting 350 turbo. Bought it used and don't know the mileage but it shifts good and fluid is nice and red and not burnt. Has a stock S10 rearend and I don't know the gear ratio but it's a really good highway cruising gear. Truck is not a powerhouse race truck but the 350 pushes it down the road really well. It's never run hot on me either. Truck would be an awesome advertising piece with a company logo on the door. Gets a lot of thumbs up everywhere. You won't find a better running and driving truck anywhere. Not sure what else to say about it but if you have questions I'll try my best to answer them. Thank you
