Chevrolet Impala 1964 Description

Everybody loves this car. You’ll for sure love it more than your money. I showed it just once—at the 2015 Lake Garnett Grand Prix Revival—and won the People’s Choice Award. (I voted for the real Porsche 550 Spyder, ut that’s just me.)

Car is in superb condition (2+). Just spent $4,000 on mechanicals and detailing, ncluding new power steering pump, ll new V belts, ew clutch, lywheel was surfaced, nd emergency brake was adjusted.

I bought the car in 2012 at an auction with the odometer showing 900± miles. Documentation was sparse but I’d guess those miles were collected after a restoration in 2008 or earlier. (Have prior owner’s J.C. Taylor collector car insurance card from May 2008.)

The only non-op items are the tach and clock. Mechanic says signal and power to the instruments are good. Internals just need attention. There are small touch ups to the paint in a few places—see photos. The convertible top is powered and works very well; just a little creeping towards down if stopped halfway.

Will include collection of manuals and brochures (some vintage paper, ome repro printed, ome PDF). Custom car cover negotiable.

Bottom line: The modifications strike a nice balance between modern and original with massive power (and value) from the 409, hile the silver interior is unique and eye-catching without destroying the historical vibe.
