An icon in American automotive design known throughout the world! Considered the junior Cadillac to consumers, it possessed the classic 1950’s rear fins, plenty of trim to polish from front to back, and a very handsome look overall! Chevrolet called it “Sweet, Smooth, and Sassy!” in their advertising copy. Words that continue to ring true today, and a perfect embodiment of young mid-Fifties America!

We are delighted to offer this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible finished in desired Larkspur Blue over Medium & Dark Blue vinyl interior with matching Dark Blue convertible top! This nicely optioned example comes with a fully rebuilt 1957 date-code correct GC-code 283ci- 4 barrel 220hp Power Pak engine fitted with, 9.25:1 compression triangle heads, an upgraded Edelbrock intake and 1406 Performer 600cfm carburetor mated with a Turbo-Hydramatic 350 3-speed transmission! Options include air conditioning, power brakes, power steering, power top, front bumper guards, rear fender skirts, rocker trim, dual exhaust with chrome tips, electric wipers, front seatbelts, AM/FM/MP3 audio system with fender mounted antenna, door handle paint guards, carpeted floor mats and trunk floor, and wide whitewall tires with spinner hubcaps.

This car survives out of southern Missouri where it was finished by a long time automotive collector and restorer. The body, chassis, and undercarriage all survive in excellent condition and remain wonderfully rust free! The exterior paint was just refinished in 2015 and looks excellent!
