Chevrolet Camaro 1969 Description

This is an absolutely magnificent 1969 Camaro SS 350/300 4-speed (L48). This car has been professionally restored. It has gone through a VERY EXTENSIVE ROTESSERIE RESTORATION (photos are available if needed). The (L48) 69 Camaros are tough to find especially a car like this! It retains all its original sheet metal. It still has the rivet spots under the rear quarters wheel lips from the factory and other factory spots that verify its originality. This car is completely matching numbers other than a color change. As the original trim tag indicates it was Fathom Green with black interior. Now it’s painted in Cortez Silver with black interior. Some of the original features include: the entire engine, Muncie 4-speed transmission and rear end. The differential, starter, water pump, crank pulley, thermostat housing, flywheel, intake manifold, brake booster, fuel pump and alternator are date code correct. To find a 1969 Camaro with completely original sheet metal and all these matching numbers is very difficult.
This 69 Camaro has had a very extensive rotisserie restoration by a professional body shop. The photos of the entire restoration are listed below and document the hundreds of hours that were invested in this car. The photos also document the time and attention to detail that was devoted to this amazing car. This wasn't just any 69 Camaro so it needed to be done by someone who was going to restore it to show quality condition.
The build date on this car was (03D) which was the 4th week of March in 1969. It's an X-55 code - SS350 car with Muncie 4-speed. These cars are very hard to find. Matter of fact, there’s more 69 Camaro Z 28's on the market than there are SS 350 4-speed cars! The body lines are very straight and the gaps couldn't be more factory correct because it's the way it was when it left the factory. The doors, hood and trunk lid open and close effortlessly. As the original trim tag indicates it left the factory with the (57 57) paint color code which was Fathom Green. It had (711) interior code which was black standard. After much thought a decision was made to paint the car 1969 Cortez Silver with the black front stripe. Everything on the exterior such as the chrome, window trim, lenses, etc is brand new. The side glass appears to be original and in very nice condition. The windows rolls up and down very smoothly as a lot of these older cars don’t. The front windshield has been replaced and the rear windshield. The exterior paint is absolutely beautiful and show quality.
The interior has been upgraded (Seat covers and door panels) to new styling and can be restored to original for a very low cost. All the gauges work as they should. It has a feature that makes you put the car in reverse before you can take the key out for safety.
The engine compartment is very detailed and in show quality condition. This car has the original matching numbers 350 engine that produced 300 horsepower. It is coupled with the original matching numbers Muncie 4-speed transmission and rear end. ALL OF THE ENGINE NUMBERS, TRANSMISSION NUMBERS AND REAR END NUMBERS ARE LISTED BELOW. The engine has been completely rebuilt and runs beautifully.
The undercarriage is show quality and really puts the icing on the cake. The front Upper and lower A arms and shocks have been upgraded for an improved ride and handling.

17" Torque Thrust wheels and tires were added to give the car a more modern look. The Brake rotors and calipers have been upgraded.
A custom exhaust system has been added as well. This was added to get a healthier sound out of the exhaust system.
