Chevrolet Other Pickups 1959 Description
Selling my shortbed 1959 Chevrolet Apache 3100 Fleetside Deluxe. Will also trade for a 41-48 Chevy Fleetline or Coupe. Must be 350/350 swapped or equivalent. Driver for Driver only. I'm selling to buy something with more family room. Here's a brief rundown of my truck. Engine: 350/th350 drivetrain. 10 GM rearend. 2 Barrel carb. HEI ignition. Power steering. Engine and trans are strong. Consistent 40 lbs of oil pressure. Runs 190 degrees even in mid Texas summer. I've driven every day for the past 4 years straight. Rain. shine. snow. ice etc. Dual exhaust all the way back. Interior: 90's full size chevy seat with mexican blanket. Late 80's tilt column. Dolphin Gauges (all work). Sony CD player with 2 6" and 2 6x9's. Smoothed dash. Only headlight switch. push start and ignition. The truck does not have A/C. but does have heater. Heater is 3 speeds. Control knob is located on lower part of dash. Exterior: I painted the truck 4 years ago. Still shines up nice but does have bumps and bruises. It get's used a truck. I've hauled bikes. motors. trash and groceries in it for several years. Original tank is mounted in bed. Suspension: Late 90's dodge dakota clip with power disc brakes. rack and pinion steering. Rear is c-notched with 4" of travel for heavier loads. I've hauled a Harley Davidson in the back and it still had enough room for travel. As stated earlier. this is my daily form of transportation. We're expecting another child in a few months and I'm searching for something with more room. I'll sell outright in cash or will consider trades for another Daily Driver vehicle. I've driven this truck out of state several times. ZERO issues. Drove from Dallas to Florida back in July for our family vacation. Spent a week there up and down Destin/Panama City and never had any issues. I can't state this enough but the truck is a bullet proof driver.
