Chevrolet Camaro 1970 Description
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WELCOME! I WILL BE HAPPY TO DO A BUY IT NOW FOR SERIOUS BUYERS!THIS IS A REAL Z/28. NOT A CLONE, TRIBUTE, REPLICA, OR WHATEVER FANCY WORD PEOPLE ARE USING FOR A FAKE THESE DAYS. I can be reached at (760) 8O5-8O38. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AD. This is a Barn Find, original paint, Los Angeles built, CA blue plate1970 1/2 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 that has spent it's entire life in San Diego,California. These cars are getting extremely difficult to find and finding a restorable one that has not already been completely done is getting nearly impossible. The early first generation 1967, 1968, and 1969 Camaros have always been hot. The second generation 1970, 1971, and 1972 Zs have gone through the roof in value the last five years and are continuing to rise. The old guy I got the car from had owned it since the early 1980s. His son drove the car to High School and blew up the original LT-1. It had a replacement small block Chevy installed and that spun a bearing in 1989 and it has been stored ever since. The Z still has the 4 speed transmission and the 12-bolt rearend, as well as the rear sway bar and deep groove pulleys. It has power steering, power disc brakes, buckets w/center console, front spoiler, and short rear spoiler. The body is solid and straight but IT DOES HAVE SOME RUST! Nothing hidden and no surprises with an original 67-67 Classic Copper paint car but I want you to know everything up front so we are both happy with the transaction. The car was stored on their horse ranch in Poway on atrailer underneath a tarp. I hate those things since they are notorious for holding onto every drop of water and condensation. The paint is obviously very, verytired. Or you can be like all the "car guys" now and call it patina. Either way, it's done. The car has solid floorboards, solid trunk pan, and good frame rails. It does have rust in the lower rear quarter panels, the bottoms of the front fenders, the hood, and the dashtop inside. All of it can certainly be repaired and this car is definitely worth of a full resto. It is still far, farmore solid thanmost cars you will findbackEast. The caris an outstanding candidate for a full stock restoration or to build your dream Pro Touring Hot Rod that, when completed, with leave you a step above a lot of them since it is an authentic Z. Factory Rally Wheels with new tires. I also have the fifth Rally in the trunk. The interior is stock and complete. Obviously the upholstery was changed but they are still the factory seats. It has a Hurst Short Throw shifter on it currently but I have the original tall shifter. I also have an extra rear bumper for the car. The car needs a complete restoration but it is an extremely rare, desirable car and worthy of one. But please be realistic with your expectations. I have zero interest in dealing with Camaro Numbers Nazis whose only intention is to prove to me that they know the date code of the factory water in the radiator. Clean, clearold style pink sliptitle in hand. I am located in Cardiff, CA in North County San Diego.
