Chevrolet Corvette 1964 Description
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WELCOME! I WILL BE HAPPY TO DO A BUY IT NOW FOR SERIOUS BUYERS! PLEASE CALL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS AT (626) 627-18O0. This is a killer 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Roadster that is not your average Vette. It is a 550 horsepower Pro Touring Hot Rod that is loud, extremely fast, and even more fun! If you are looking for a nice, whisper quiet Powerglide Vette with air conditioning, THIS IS NOT IT! It has a 406 cubic inch small block Chevy with aluminum heads, roller, rockers, etc. that will put you way back in your seat and put a smile on your face every time. Nicely detailed engine compartment with plenty of chrome. Equipped with a Tremec 5 speed that makes the car much more drivable. Big aluminum radiator. It has numerous suspension mods for awesome handling, as well as power four wheel disc brakes for stopping on a dime. The Vette is a lifelong California car that has had a body off build performed with about $20,000 in receipts for recent work done. The car started out as a very original mid-year and it just took off from there. The body was pulled off of the frame. The chassis itself is nicely painted/detailed. The frame is in excellent condition. The body is in good condition with what I estimate to be about 65% original red paint. The bonding strips are intact. The passenger side front corner by the headlight had some repair work done and obviously that has been painted. It all depends on what you want to do with the car. It can be driven and have fun as it sits with the older paint or you could continue with high end paint to make a show car. Either way, you could not come close to building this car to where it is for anywhere close to what it takes to buy this one and drive now. Stinger hood, American Racing Torq Thrust wheels. The headlights go up and down but, like all of them, are a little slow. It has a nice black convertible soft top, as well as the black hardtop. The interior is clean. Hooker sidepipes. This is a fast and fun Corvette that makes everybody smile. It is just cool. But please be realistic with your expectations. I have zero interest in dealing with Corvette Numbers Nazis whose only intention is to prove to me that they know the date code of the factory water in the radiator. Clean, clearCaliforniatitle in hand. I am located in Sierra Madre, CA near Los Angeles.
