UP FOR SALE IS A 1988 CHEVY FULL SIZE BLAZER. THE PICTURES SHOW ALL THE PROBLEMS IT HAS WITH RUST AND I WILL TELL YOU WHAT I KNOW ABOUT IT AS BEST I CAN. THE DETAILS BELOW SOUND BAD BUT OVERALL THIS TRUCK IS SOLID AND COULD BEA NICE TRUCK. I ORGINALLY WAS GOING TO FIX IT UP MYSELF BUT I HAVE TO MANY OTHER PROJECTS ALONG WITH TWO JOBS SO IT'S GOING TO TAKE TO LONG FOR ME TO FINISH IT IN A TIMELY MANNER.

THE GOOD

THE ENGINE STARTS, RUNS/ TRANS SHIFTS GOOD/ 4WD WORKS GOOD/BRAKES WORK GREAT.

THE ENGINE WAS JUST RECENTLY RE-RINGED AND HAD NEW CAM, LIFTERS, CAM BEARINGS, CRANK BEARINGS, GASKET SET, WATER PUMP, STARTER, ALTERNATOR AND TIMING GEAR/CHAIN.

THEQUARTER PANELS AROUND THE WHEEL WELLS ARE PRETTY MUCH RUST FREE, THE ROCKERS HAVE SOME SURFACE RUST BUT NOTHING SERIOUS, THE FLOORS ARE PRETTY SOLID OTHER THAN CRACKS WHERE THE FRONT SEAT BOLT THROUGHT.

THE WINDOW SWITCHES WORK ALONG WITH THE DRIVER AND TAILGATE WINDOW BUT THE RIGHT HAND WINDOW WILL GO DOWN HALF WAY BUT THAT'S IT.THE GAUGES WORK OTHER THAN THE OIL PRESSURE WHICH ISN'T HOOK UP.THE LIGHTS ALL WORK ALONG WITH THE HORN AND WIPERS.

ALL THE GLASS IS GOOD WITH NO CRACKS OR CHIPS.

THE BAD

THE BODY NEEDS SOME REPAIR IN THE REAR SEAT AREA ON THE LH SIDE ESPECIALLY (AS PICTURED), THE REAR TAILGATE SUPPORT AND REAR FLOOR SUPPORT ARE BOTH RUSTED AWAY. THERE IS SOME RUST AT THE BOTTOMS OF THE QUARTERS BEHIND THE REAR WHEELS BUT NOT REAL BAD.

THE ENGINE RUNS GREAT NOW BUT SOMEONE HAD CUT ALL THE WIRES WHEN THEY HAD PULLED THE ENGINE ( ESPECAILLY THE EFI WIRES) WHICH I FIXED THE EFI AND SOME OTHERS WITH HEAT SHRINK BUTT CONNECTORS BUT THERE IS STILL SOME THAT NEED REPAIRED BECAUSE THE ALTERNATOR WILL NOT CHARGE THROUGHT THE HARNESS UNLESS YOU RUN IT STRAIGHT TO THE BATTERY.

THE ENGINE GETS HOT IF YOU RUN IT FOR MORE THAN 30 MINS MAINLY BECAUSE THE RADIATOR WAS LEFT OPEN FOR TWO YEARS AND HAS BUILD UP INSIDE WHICH DOESN'T LET THE COOLANT FLOW PROPERLY.

THERE IS NO RADIO AS SOMEONE TOOK IT OUT. THE A/C IS THERE BUT NOT MOUNTED SO I DON'T KNOW IF IT WORKS BUT THE FAN DOES WORK ON THE VENTS.

THE UGLY

THEPAINT IS ROUGH OR NON EXISTENT, THE INTERIOR IS WORN AND DIRTY, THE DASH IS CRACKED, THE TRIM WORK NEEDS REPLACED.
