Chevrolet El Camino 1960 Description
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WELCOME! I WILL BE HAPPY TO DO A BUY IT NOW FOR SERIOUS BUYERS! PLEASE CALL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS AT (76O) 8O5-8038. This is a killer street rod that you can have fun with today. Pictures do not really do this car justice. It is an absolutely beautiful 1960 Chevrolet El Camino that has had tens of thousands invested in the build and is ready to go. The 1959 and 60 Batwing El Caminos are extremely desirable and have the coolest fins around (except for maybe a 59 Cadillac) This one is amazing and can be driven anywhere today. It has been updated as a restomod or Pro Touring style with a newer Fuel Injected Chevy Corvette LS crate engine with 32,000 miles on it, overdrive automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, Vintage Air Conditioning, trick interior, and billet wheels. The car runs and drives like a new car. It starts right up, settles into a smooth idle, never gets hot (big aluminum radiator), and takes off like a rocket when you hammer it. It is not temperamental at all, even in heavy Southern California traffic. It is very fast, very fun, and draws a huge crowd at any show that you take it to. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. The car is arrow straight. The body is excellent. The gaps are good. It has been together for 32,000 miles and is a proven driver, so there are a few minor chips and touch up spots that are to be expected. Overall, the paint has a beautiful finish. It looks black in some of the pictures but is actually a verystrikingdark blue. The floorboards and frame are excellent. They have no rust and never have had any. This is a very solid car. There is a tiny spot bubbling on thefront passenger side of the hood. Very small but I want to be upfront about everything so you are happy with your new El Camino. The bumpers are excellent. The stainless is nice. The interior is custom gray with very comfortable bucket seats and nice custom center console. It has a Lokar floor shifter. Ididit tilt steering column with matching steering wheel. The door panels and headliner were done to match. The paint on the dash is excellent. Aftermarket gauges in the factory gauge cluster. They all work, as does everything else on the car. The lights, turn signals, etc. all work as they should. Nice aftermarket stereo with auxiliary Bluetooth inputs so you can use your phone to play tunes. The radio has the factory look and no cutting was done. Speakers cleanly mounted in separate boxes behind the seats. The air conditioning blows cold and works well. All the glass is nice. All in all, it is difficult to even find a rust free and straight 60 El Camino anymore. One that has been done to this level is nearly impossible. It is not perfect but it isa very, very nice example that I do not think anyone will be disappointed in and certainly one that is ready to be enjoyed the day that you get it.
