Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1957 Description
* This is a good project car* most of the sheet metal is in good shape. there are some dings on the roof that need smoothing. * the fenders are in good shape but will need de-rusting and some work at the frame connection/ original threaded holes are decent and possibly useable. * disassembled and partially put back together but needs to be painted. etc. * most all original parts are here- see photos. * frame is not original- replaced the old frame with one from a parts car sedan because the original was rusted out* there is still some rust on the fenders and the rocker panel patches need to be completed. * engine 283 v8 is here and comes with the car. it's just taken apart and on a stand* transmission is here and comes with the car. it is a powerglide automatic. * front and rear glass are intact. most window glass is here but I would replace the flat glass for new. * seat spring frames are in the car* hood is in good shape For more photos of the car go to:
photoshttp://s1166. photobucket. com/user/dmdolinger/library/1957-4door-2014?sort=3&page=1* see photos of driver door VIN tag * Rims are from a 1982 Camaro Z28 * the frame was replaced because the old one was rusted out- see photos - body is sitting on 4" timbers that rest on the frame- so the frame VIN won't match (but will be close. it was taken from another 4 door sedan) * I have the title from Tennessee from 1991 with the VIN number VC57B122053. could not get a title in Alabama because I never got it drivable to get to the DMV* Also have the previous owner's registration with the VIN number on it. *from the information given above. buyer must be sure of wanting to purchase and being able to get your registration before making your bid. Contact me before you bid if you have any questions about the car or the parts that are with it. Paypal deposit required as soon as you successfully bid on and win the auction. Payment of the balance by cashier's check (from a national bank like Regions) is required 7 days prior to pickup. Pickup to be made by trailer - the car will have to be winched up my driveway. picked up on a rollback. and rolled back onto your trailer. The cost for that is approximately $100 to be paid by buyer. (I sold another car like this in 2013 and that is how we had to get it on the trailer) We will have to figure out the best way to pick up and transfer the engine and transmission. If you have room in the truck that is pulling the trailer we can probably get it in there. Thanks
