Chevrolet C-10 1979 Description
Here is a nice Chevy C-10 that looks good, runs good, and gets a lot of attention every time it is driven. The body is straight and the paint looks good. It has a louvered hood, billet grill, nice wood bed with chrome strips, duel tail lights, after market wheels, the rear tires are Coopers and are brand new. Chrome front bumper, frenched in antenna. The interior has been redone with new carpet, new door panels, custom headliner with CD Player mounted overhead. It also has a radio in the dash. The seat has been redone and has an after market steering wheel. It has a tilt wheel, seat belts, power windows and locks.
The engine runs great. I was told there are approx 25,000 to 30,000 miles on the motor by the previous owner. It has a custom aluminum fire wall, headers, power steering, power brakes, it has a chrome air cleaner cover, chrome heater motor, chrome valve covers, and chrome brake booster. The hood springs and brackets are also chromed. The area around the radiator is custom and looks great. It is an A/C truck but needs to have the compressor installed and charged. I do have a compressor that will go with the truck. As I can't confirm the mileage on the engine I did take a compression test on all 8 cylinders and the compression is on the high side of the scale so very good condition. It starts right up and runs great, no smoke. The transmission shifts as it should and the only mechanical issue is with the A/C compressor.
This is a nice truck and the buyer will enjoy the attention it gets. I have a clear title in hand and I will assist the transporter with the loading of the truck as much as I can.
