1974 Corvette convertible with only 23,000 original miles. Amazing condition.
350 / 4-speed
Original numbers matching drive-train has never been out of car.
All original and unmolested Deluxe interior in stunning condition. Functional original AM/FM radio.
Original jack sits clean and unused in its holder.
Original spare tire still in carrier.
Original black convertible top in excellent condition.
Only one show quality repaint in it's original color of code 14 "Silver Mist". No hit body and clean solid frame. Door jambs, under deck-lid, and hood edges are still original factory paint with original weatherstrips all in excellent condition. Windshield and all trim in outstanding condition.
All new front suspension components including : upper & lower control arms, tie rod ends & sleeves, idler arm, new coils, shocks, brake hoses, calipers, etc.
All new rear suspension components including : complete trailing arm assemblies w/SS parking brake hardware, rear spring and hardware, shocks, adjustable strut rod upgrade, new half-shafts and driveshaft, and all brake components. Also installed a new differential mount bushing and added a rear sway bar.
New aluminized 2 1/2" exhaust with MagnaFlow "hide away" mufflers.
New fuel tank with ethanol compliant sending unit/pick up.
New original size tires on the car's original Rally Wheels.
Engine compartment features : new water pump, fuel pump, alternator, heater core, radiator, correct plug wires and new plugs, under cap electronic ignition upgrade, all new belts, hoses and clamps. Way too much good stuff to list. Everything is correct and original in appearance. Engine, trans, and differential have all been drained and refilled with modern synthetic oils and zinc additive in crank case oil.
Car runs flawlessly and shifts beautifully as well. Feels like a new car again.
It was NCRS judged back in 2004 before it's repaint. Many handwritten comments on the judging sheets complimenting on what "a nice car" it is.
I have all the original smog equipment that was removed.
Very very hard to find a clean C3 with mileage this low. The condition of the interior speaks volumes about how this car was cared for and preserved over the years. Everything works; from the key buzzer to the courtesy lights.
