Chevrolet C-10 1982 Description
1982 Chevrolet C10
Please watch video and over 67 photos!!
350ci 8 cyl balanced and blueprinted- 1800 miles since new engine- This engine is a fire breathing dragon it sounds awesome!!!
Turbo 350 automatic transmission- 200 miles since rebuild
PS, PB, A/C, Keyless Entry, Alarm
This is a great looking, driving, solid truck. I have owned this truck over 12 years. Always garaged, never outside. I have over $32k invested not including my sweat equity and have the receipts to prove it. Obviously I am the one taking the hit. You can always sell this truck for what you are buying it for. Squarebody Trucks similar to this one for sale have a new or newer powertrain, have a 5/7 drop, ride like a forklift, and sell for what I am marketing this truck for, but this is practically a new truck!
Just about everything has been touched in either restoring or replacing:
Exterior:
The paint is a beautiful red. I would say it’s a 9 out of 10. It has been repainted, the pictures speak for it.
Coy’s 20 inch Chrome front, 22 inch Chrome rear, Yokohama 255/40R20-285/35R22- There can’t be over 5000 miles on these tires.
Chevy NOS front grille, not cheap reproduction
Shaved Door handles/mirrors with door poppers operated by keyless entry
Wood Bed- Has been refinished
Removable Cover for access to a dual bank on board charger, aux battery to operate sound system, and isolating switch
New bumpers
New weather-stripping
Drivetrain:
Fresh Engine built from block up, balanced and blueprinted- 1800 miles on it since new
Turbo 350 transmission 200 miles on it since rebuild
Rebuilt 8.5 10 bolt Rear End with 3:42 gears. Can run down the Highway at 70 turning about 2600 RPM
Driveshaft has been removed and rebalanced
Suspension:
Custom Air Ride, all components are in a custom enclosure under truck in an accessible enclosure
I first started with a static drop with front spindles/coils and a C-Notch in the rear. But when the ride jarred my teeth I upgraded to air ride, kept spindles and obviously the C-Notch. Air Ride is better than factory in my opinion plus you can lay low when you want.
Underhood/Underbody:
New Radiator/Dual Electric Fans
New A/C system, Compressor, Heater Core, and all Components including control panel with stainless braided lines
Fuel regulator, if you haven’t run a carbureted engine with a fuel regulator, it makes it the closest thing to a fuel injected engine. Very reliable, no flooding.
New Optima battery
New Alternator
Custom exhaust- Hedman headers-Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers-insulated in cab, sound is outside of vehicle
New Distributor, wires, MSD box located under glovebox to clean up under-hood
New Power Steering gear box and hoses
New brake hoses
New Edelbrock 600 CFM with electric choke
New fuel sending unit, fuel pump and hoses
Interior:
Autometer gauges
Custom Vinyl Interior with bucket seats
Custom ball milled aluminum cup holders- this was done at a machine shop. You will not find this for sale anywhere
Over 7k invested in stereo system. Elite Ridez in Lumberton Texas did the work. The interior and exterior metal panels has been lined with Dynamat. The system sounds great for any type of music and the truck does not rattle. It has a through the bed system which is all a precise formula. It produces clean bass:
JVC Double Din Head Unit
3- JL Audio amps- 2-500/1 1-300/4
4- JL Audio C5 6.5 Coaxials
4- JL Audio 10 inch subs
Stinger SP1700 Dry Cell Aux battery
Guest OnBoard 2- battery bank smart charger
Isolating switch
The sound system is designed to run all day on its own battery and with isolating switch you can still crank up your vehicle. It does not draw from vehicles starting battery. If your sound system battery needs more juice, you just plug in the cord cap
