I'm calling this an easy project Camaro. It already runs and drives well and wouldnt take much to have it on the road. Take a look at the details, 50+ pictures, and video below: Cosmetic - Paint/Body: The body is very straight. The only rust spot on the body is the front passenger rocker (see video) very small spot. Paint is driver quality that looks good from 20ft away but shows imperfections up close.
- Interior: New CD/iPod player with great speakers. Lots of the interior is brand new; new seat covers and padding, new dash cap, and new door pads and lower panels. The carpet is in good condition as well as the headliner. Interior is missing a few small pieces of trim around the rear window and above the windshield.
- Glass/Windows: All of the glass is in good original condition. Windows roll up and down easily. Door glass does have the typical scratches most f-body cars have.
- Trunk: Original trunk pan has some Swiss cheese rust holes here and there that could easily be patched. Overall the trunk is solid. There are a few extra parts and new weatherstripping in the trunk. The trunk also needs a new key assembly.
- Undercarriage: All original frame rails and floor pans. Frame is solid with zero rust. Floor pans are in overall great condition with only a few small rust spots in the front seat foot spot areas (see video)
- Wheels/Tires: Rally wheels with good tires. Front wheel offest sits out a little too far and causes scrubbing. Need to replace the two front wheels more inset under the fender.
Mechanical - Drivetrain: Numbers on the block show the engine to be an early 60s 283. She starts easily and runs strong. 350 Turbo automatic transmission shifts as it should. the car drives very straight and easy down the road
- Lights/Electrical: Headlights and turn signals work. Tail lights need to be re-installed and completed (easy job). A/C and heater fan are not hooked up. Windshield wipers are not functioning, likely a fuse.
- Brakes: Disc brakes stop straight and strong
- Power Options: Power steering works great.
This is a great deal for a 2nd generation Camaro! We see project cars in pieces for this same price. Watch the video then call Erick at 678-908-6006.
