Chevrolet Caprice 1967 Description

Up for the offering is our garage kept 1967 Chevy Caprice. One time featured in Bobs Impala, PDF supplied with car. Documented Movie car for Finding Steve McQueen filmed this last Fall in Atlanta Georgia. Currently owned by a Hollywood props maker. Runs, drives and shifts great and has been very dependable on the rare occassion that I drive her.Original numbers matching 327 motor and 400 turbo transmission, 4 speed automatic. Center console shift. The center console is missing a small piece at the rear only seen from the rear seat. The car had a frame off restoration in the 90s and is a California car that remains solid and well cared for. The interior remains original with the exception of new carpet and new rear deck lid. No rips, tears or cracks to the interior but missing a drivers seat button that I have in the center console.
Motor was refreshed during the restoration in the 90s as well as the transmission and both were painted to match the main body color of Ruby. Less than 12 thousand miles have been driven since the refresh of the motor and transmission. Roof was painted a plumb. There are a couple of small dings in the roof from a tree branch falling on her last year and several paint chips from the last 20 + years since she was last painted but she still shows well and is a major head turner.Front brakes were upgraded to disk, steering upgraded and the lights have also been upgraded to LED to shine bright. Radiator was upgraded. Edelbrock intake and new Edelbrock 600 cfm carburetor. New heater core last year. Windows were professionally tinted. No A/C car. 2015 top 20 trophy winner out of 382 cars. Tires and brakes were new as of last year and less than 3000 miles have been driven on them.
Everything works as it should with the exception of the clock in the dash. Glove box liner needs to be replaced but I have it and it goes with the car as well as a couple of spare parts. Sacrificing our Ruby at well below her value as we need the garage space for work and storage and as little as she is driven she just needs a new good home.
