Chevrolet Chevelle 1970 Description
1970 Chevelle Super SportReal Deal
I have a reserve on this car but act as if it does not because I will seriously consider the final bid if reserve is not met.
I have a real SS. Someone has taken it off the frame and painted it. Looks as if the replaced some of the bushings. Car has the following
GM Cowl Induction hood
F41 Suspension
Disc brakes
Correct 5500 tach (green letters) housing has seat belt light but in good shape
correct bucket seats but should have been bench
Disc brakes with proper valve
What I believe to be the original rear end with 331 posi with a cracked case.
12 bolt in car is correct but open (swap parts in rear ends)
Car is missing engine/trans driveshaft and I am sure some other little things not normally replaced anyway.
Car will need at minimum the following sheet metal- 2 full quarters-outer wheel houses-deck lid-floor pans (braces dont look that bad) outer rocker on drivers side-drivers side door skin. A complete 1 piece trunk pan and trunk drop offs are included in the sale. The roof is rough around the windows but I have a roof cut included.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT--Even tho this car is rough- When done a real Super Sport always sells faster and for more than the comparable clone. With a real SS bringing an extra 5k when done makes this car worth doing. If it was a Malibu I would part it out.
Again bid as if there was no reserve I just might take it when its over

I live 1 hour north of Indy. My phone number is 765 206 0350. Delivery maybe available up to 200 miles 1 way but you must call first.
I believe it is a GM cowl hood Early addition. I have been asked if it has the big block rag joint. I will post a pic of it shortly, rear sway bar is in the trunk, Have all the glass except windsheild. Car was Cortez Silver with Black Vinyl Top and Black Bench seat. The strip color is not indicated on the trim tag. Stripes were optional D88 if ZL1 was not ordered. I don't know if hood is original to car. So car may or may not have had stripes. You get both rear ends. Hope this helps answer some questions.
It does have the big block steering column. I also took a pic of the underside of the hood so you can see it is a GM hood.
