Chevrolet Blazer 1972 Description
1972 Chevrolet Blazer (CST) K-5 4x4
Have owned this Blazer since 1979
Factory color is a Dark Olive Green with a white removable top
Going to give details on where it is currently. Started the Restoration in May 2010, he gentleman that I had doing this, as unable to complete the paint work (which is so very close), ue to some unforeseen conditions.
I have pictures to what it looked like before I even started taking it apart, as driving perfect, ust wanted to do a complete restro. On it. It had 109k miles when I took it apart, hen we bought it in 1979, t had 19,000 miles on it.
I will take pictures from the pictures that I have taken during the process.
I also will take a picture of the sheets OF THE NEW PARTS that I have already bought for the blazer, TILL ALL IN BOXES, WILL TRY TO GET A LOT OF PICTURES OF THE NEW STUFF, UT THERE IS A LOT, VER 90%, F THE PARTS BOUGHT.
The motor (350) for the blazer is the factory motor, riginal carburetor with the original breather, lock, ransmission, ransfer case, ear end, tc. Only thing is on the motor different, s in 1986, e put a set of double hump 375 horse heads on it.
If you know anything about these blazer’s, ou know they are not cheap to build, ut like I said, have bought over 90% of the parts already, nd when I did, didn’t spare any expense, o cheap stuff, ook at my list to see. I will list some of the big stuff also. BUT, or instance, hile buying, bought like example, orrect bulbs for the dash, ll correct grommets, prings and clips for headlights and adjustments, tc.. OVER $10,000 in parts only. Body work done to this point was $4,500. Over $14,500, ust in that. Only going to list a few $$$ amounts. Not even counting the blazer itself costs.
ALL NEW WIRING HARNESS’S, TILL IN Plastic.
NEW radiator support,(powder coated) ($225)
ALL original pulley’s, wr. Steering brackets (powder coated)Alot more coated I couldn't add.

Brake booster and master cylinder, omplete set up, riginal look $425
Vent windows (2), omplete, eady to bolt in. ($450)
All wood grain for bottom and tailgate ($900)
All NEW grille and shell, nd bowtie ($550)
NEW fender wells, $220)
NEW frt./Rear bumpers and bolts
Installed 2 NEW rocker boxes underneath, and end caps, eren’t bad
Installed 2 NEW rocker panels, thers weren’t bad
All NEW rubber, or windows, oors, nderneath top
All emblems, -5 Blazer, ST, 350, oor handles

Heater control assembly, nd Air vent chrome balls turn signal lever, igarette lights, eadlight rod w/knob, iper switch, gnition switch, ntenna, ay too much more to list.
The Interior is still pretty nice, he Rear seat is still original, ot ever been covered, ery good shape, he 2 front seats, ave been recovered and no rips, ith the original frames, he center console is original to the blazer is very great condition, ith all factory seat belts, he door panels are original great shape, ut I did order NEW wood grain that is an insert for them, ut the chrome trim is original in great shape. Do have carpet set, o rips, ut little faded some places, here we had the top off one summer, ut very good shape.
There is NO way I can list everything I bought and prices, ut please try to look at the sheets in the pictures, t is more detailed and you can tell, t was done right, /font>I even wrote down the parts numbers so you can identify each peace- easier when putting together.
It has a double wall removable top, n very, ery nice shape; almost don’t have to paint it.Sitting on a mattress in the garage, look at pic)
I REALLY don’t even want to sell this due to I’ve owned it so long,(37 years) but not sure if/when I can finish it, loors are so good, ou don’t even need to replace them, ll original.
I know these are getting hard to fine, ice one’s, nd I should probably keep mine, ut things are not going my way right now with this. I really hate it to, wned over 37 years, hat’s rare itself anymore.
Now, ith all the information and pictures, WILL NOT GIVE IT away, ike I said and have proof to show you the items, have EVERYTHING on my list that I say I bought, ’m a very organized person, nd over $10,000- plus just in parts, ot counting what else I have spent to get the Blazer body work done to this point, nd it is very close, as took all the way down to the metal (see pictures) to see what you had to work with.
The blazer is sitting on 4 casters, olls around easy, hey WILL even go to.
There are ALOT of parts, ou really only need to paint it, nd build the motor, ecause everything is there to put it together.
Now, F YOU ARE SERIOUS, ou may call me, nd we can discuss everything in detail, ut please don't think I will sell this for like $5,000, showed you in the ad of the pictures, nd just add up all the cost I have already spent, nd like I said, he title proves, ow long that I have owned this.
