I picked this car up a few years ago from Alabama it was sitting in a body shop back room since 1980s . Inside and dry .
1972 Z28 Camaro. Numbers matching 350 LT1 engine Block pad stamp is pictured V1260 CKS is what I se, umbers matching M-22 Rock Crusher Muncie 4-speed and the original 3:73 posi rear end. This car is an unrestored Z28 that has had one repaint in the 80's wrong color and some minor detailing through out the years. I disasembled the car for a repaint back to the Factory color . Code 14 pewter the color was ONLY AVAILABLE IN 1972 z-28 and vet. It is a very very solid rust free car . The car retains all of it's original sheet metal fender doors quarters and still has most of it's original interior included. EVEN HAS ORIGINAL 8 TRACK PLAYER !!! The car runs and drives out excellent. I have the original protecto plate still in the owners book. The miles on the car of 47,000 are actual as per the previous owner. Previous owner also said the engine was rebuilt and new Hydraulic cam was installed replacing factory solid lifter cam. It sounds and runs excellent, o extra noises and no smoke. VERY LOPEY IDLE This car is a very dependable daily driver, tarts with ease and has no mechanical issues that need addressed. The original shifter is still in the car and works like new. Has numbers matching Holley carb. The only not factory thing are the distributor. I also want to mention that the windshield is also cracked in the lower drivers side corner. The rear frame rails along with the complete under side of the car are completely rust free and still retain the original red oxide primer. EVERY PANEL ON THE CAR IS ORIGINAL. I even have the original floor mats . Please feel free to come and inspect the car, am available most days.
