Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1957 Description

This is your chance to obtain a project destined for greatness!

I purchased this very solid running 1957 210 Post Coupe a few years ago from a Gent in Minnesota. The 210 was born in Van Nuys Ca., shipped to Minnesota and spent her first 57 years there before coming back to California with me. Most of her life she was loved, in decent shape, as you’ll see in the progress photos there was little rust (considering what you can get here in California for the amount I purchased this running 210).

I stripped the car down to the chassis and had it rebuilt from the ground up until I put the project on hold and now want to move on.

Pros:

·Original California boxed Chassis

·90% original steel body

·ALL original Stainless Steel Trim

·99% of the metal work complete – just needs to finalize the chassis for finish – by metal work, I mean all rust has been cutout:

oNew front floor boards

oNew fire wall (set up for big block)

oNew trunk floor with spare delete

oNew door skin

oAll new rockers

oMisc. patches where needed (see pics)

oReady for final body work

·Ride-Tech Stage 3 coil over suspension

·Ididit steering column/rack & pinion steering

·13” Wilwood Brakes – all four corners

·Suspension setup for 19/20 inch wheels

·Heidts 4-link rear with 3.55 3rd member (differential)

·Rick’s Stainless Steel Gas tank

·All new body mounts

·515 Hp LS1 (11:1 compression) built by Redline in SoCal

·6-speed Auto 6L80

·1965 Impala front bucket seats with original rear bench seat

·Vintage AC System

·Much more misc. items

Cons:

  • Not complete

What’s Left to make this 210 a Sweet Ride:

  • Final Body prep for paint
  • Blow apart to begin finish process
  • Final Body/Chassis Paint
  • EMS/Wiring/gauges/fuel lines/intake system
  • Interior finishes
  • All glass/gaskets
  • Wheels/tires

Not your problem, but I’ve dropped over $65K into this project BUT I have other priorities and I need to let this project go. When complete, this car is a $150K car all day long, every day of the year. Everything done to this car is top of the line, no expenses spared. My loss is your gain.

The car is in dry/covered storage in San Jose Ca. – I can meet you there for inspection. You know what I paid to date, have ALL receipt backup, please don’t waste my time with the BS – this is a great project just waiting for the right person to show her the love she deserves.

The car has a clear Minnesota title - will transfer to California only if I keep the car.

Follow the attached link for pics from the day I brought her home to setting her into storage.
