1941 Chevrolet Patina Fuel Injected a 5.7 liter 355 LT1
You’re looking at an awesome 1941 Chevy Patina Truck, a true survivor body with a clear Florida title. The odometer shows only 2,000 miles after restoration. The title says it has 99,999 miles, however these are not actual miles since it’s an old truck and the DMV had to put some miles for them just to be there.
I bought this truck from a collector who got it from a body shop that engineered and restored the truck the way it is now. It’s a perfect swap. This gorgeous truck gets lots of attention wherever it goes. It’s an awesome truck that runs and drives great.
Mechanical
The beautiful truck has all modern drive train starting with a GMC extended cab s15 Sonoma chassis, power steering, power brakes, electric wiper, front disk brakes rear drums, sitting on newsuper comfortable all 4 corners, air ride system with 8 valves, stainless steel tank withdual compressors, and 7-switch controller with new rear shocks. The truck has new front calipers, with new front pads, new rear wheel cylinders, 4 new tires, a new 3-row aluminum radiator with transmission oil cooler, new ac condenser and AC evaporator unit under the dash, also has an engine oil cooler. It features a new electric radiator fan with temperature control and AC condenser electric fan. Moving on to the power, the engine is a 5.7 liter 355 LT1. Transmission is a 4-speed automatic 4L60E. The truck has dual exhaust with new thrush mufflers which sound beautiful. The engine has a new belt, new Optispark distributor, new spark plug wires, new spark plugs, new ignition coil, new ignition control module, new fuel injectors, new duel pump and fuel filter, new mass air flow sensor, new water pump, and newly installed but not connected Sanden Mini AC compressor, new alternator, new starter, new battery cables, and new 950 cc amp battery. The hydraulic system works great with a remote control.
Exterior
On the exterior, the body was washed and lightly wet sanded to allow clear coat to be applied to protect and maintain the beautiful patina in its original state. Front has LED HID Halo head lights trimmed by 1950s headlight visors, above the headlights the factory parking lights have fully working turn signals with parking lights, on the rear 4 LED tail light, turn signal and brakes (2 on each side) also 2 LED back up lights. Everything is in working condition as it should. Rear bumper has a licensed plate bracket and lights as well as a towing hitch class III. Behind the license plate there is an access key way to lower the spare tire from underneath the bed. The bed is very solid. The undercarriage is also very solid with an upgraded frame.
Interior
On the inside, the truck has a new windshield seal and rear glass seal both front windshield. The back glass is new, unfortunately half of the front windshield on the passenger side has a crack. Passenger and driver side door glass are original. The driver side glass has a crack and was left as is intentionally to reflect the aging of the truck. All door handles are new, including the front windshield roll out, since front windshield opens perfectly, also hood vent to inside opens as it should with an under the dash lever. There’s a new full size metal glove box, right below the under the dash AC unit.In the center of the dash there is a brand-new cigarette lighter, windshield wiper push button switch followed by a horn button, as well as interior LED lights. On the top side of the windshield there is a brand-new rear view mirror in chrome, immediately to the left there is a brand new windshield wiper motor, wiper arm and wiper blade outside the windshield (all working as they should). On the floor, on top of the transmission tunnel there is a center console with a brand-new Boss radio system which features 4 brand new speakers, a CD and MP3 player, USB port, 12-station memory recall, remote control, and detachable face with a carrying case. Brand new steering wheel accented with a 1941 Chevy truck original steering wheel emblem. Gauges are upgraded that donated the engine and transmission. Upholstery consists of plushred leather sitting fit for a king silver dash aged and patina on it as well as matching door panels in red and silver. Sound insulation on the floor and under the seats as well as behind the backrests of the seats, combined by a 3/4" thick padding and soft carpet which are all brand new.
This truck is all anyone can think of and more, it is most perfect as with everything old there are but only a few areas of rust, can corners are solid as well as the cab. The doors only have outside lower sheet metal rust about 1/2" inch wide on outside panel only under side of doors are solid, fenders on lower edged towards the steps and front below bumper. The bed is also solid with some small rust areas on lower rear fenders as well and on both steps. Again, it’s only small areas.
