Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1972 Description
72 Monte with recent upgrades to engine...new 1406 edelbrock carb...new air cleaner..new spark plugs ; wires..new wiper motor...new fuel filter. Runs extremely well after complete tune-up. over $1000 in new parts under the hood w/ receipts. 350 V8...older intake manifold w.dual exhaust pipes but no headers. Low mileage tires...less than 1000 miles on them. New door locks. Unsure if mileage is 56K or 156K. NJDMV made me use 156K on their title transfer. Anyone familiar with NJDMV will understand. Previous owner for last ten years used 56K during his state inspections. Car has less than 1000 documented miles on it for last twelve years of previous ownership. Bumpers and Corvette rims in great shape. Transmission is good. PS and PB disk. PAINTED ON MAY 1,2017......nice 10 footer ! Used original #53 turin tan paint code for Monte Carlo.. No more two-tone paint. New front brakes on May 17th. Pads were original so I think the 56K mileage is accurate. A very low, reasonable reserve... this 72 Monte is worth the reserve price. Has A/C, it is not working but it is intact. Repairable minor rust area under rear seat..usual place for Monte. It has AM/FM radio with speakers in doors..but.needs TLC. Has a nice replacement steering wheel. Vinyl top is okay with no rips or tears. The interior is in very good condition. Both front and rear seats are perfect..no tears. Nice saddle brown color interior. Has a replacement dash in great shape. Headliner is good.Needs seat belt buckle. Rubber window moldings good but need TLC. Advertised locally but I will keep on ebay if reserve met.. Overall this car has plenty of power with few mechanical issues. Currently on the road. A first gen MonteCarlo in pristine condition currently sells for$17K to $20K. My reserve is not even half of that. This is a decent car that will serve well as a daily driver and a gentlemen's cruiser on cruise night. looks good and sounds good..but it is NOT a show car. Pictures are from Feb. 2017.
