CRUISIN CLASSICS is proud to offer a rare opportunity in the form of a 1969 Rallye Green matching numbers Z-28 Camaro. This beautiful Camaro has undergone a complete frame off restoration and is finished to the highest level. All of the mechanical systems of the car have been replaced or rebuilt to correct factory standards of function and detail. When restored (we estimate 8 to 10 years ago) great care was used to feature the original color, interior and options. The car retains all of it's original floors as well as trunk, new quarter's were professionally installed during restoration and are excellent as is the overall fit and finish. This is a highly detailed, very correct car that is turn key ready to be added to a collection or driven to your local cruise in.
ENGINE DETAILS
Numbers Matching 302ci engine, casting number 3970010, casting date F-4-9 ( June 4th, 1969 ) with matching VIN number stamped on block by oil filter and while faint is legible. The block has been decked at some point in the car's life so there is no build date or suffix code stamped on the front pad. Original dated components include the distributor, part number 1111480 dated 9 E 16 (May 16th, 1969) and the alternator, part number 1100837 dated 9 D 3 (April 3rd, 1969). It has an original part number 3932472 GM aluminum dual plane intake, the Carburetor is a Holley 750 that is obviously not original. The cylinder heads are not original to the car but are the correct 3927186 castings dated April of 1970, they have screw in studs, guide plates as well. The engine retains all of the original smog system and exhaust manifolds but has a New Stainless Exhaust System. A NEW Power Steering system has also been recently added.The entire engine compartment is highly detailed and finished to look showroom new just as it did in 1969.
TRANSMISSION DETAILS
The M21 Muncie 4-speed transmission has numbers matching VIN and suffix code P9K10B dated (July 10th, 1969) along with the correct Hurst competition plus shifter.
REAR END DETAILS
The 12 bolt Posi is the correct numbers matching rear end. The suffix code is BU 0815 G2 with a build date of (August 15th, 1969). Casting date is H 8 9 (August 8th, 1969) and is a 3.73 ratio, casting number is 3969341 NF
