Chevrolet Corvair 1969 Description

1969 Chevy Corvair Monza coupe #4141. It's a late production car built off the main production line the first week of March 1969. Corvair production ended forever only 2 months after this car was built, so it's one of the very last. It's a numbers matching 110/PG (engine block has matching VIN stamped on it) and appears to be a low mileage original car with just 34K miles showing on the odometer. Judging from the overall lack of wear, I believe the 34K miles showing on the odometer is the actual mileage.
I first saw this car for sale about 20 years ago and was advertised with mileage in the low 30K range at that time. It has changed hands a few times since then and unfortunately, sat outside for the past 10+years before I purchased it. The dash pad and front seats show the sun damage from sitting out but the rest of the interior is actually pretty darn nice. It was a running/driving car until the previous owner started to install an electric fuel pump and never completed the install, so the car is not currently running. Car is 100% complete, including all the original smog equipment. The brakes work well as does the suspension with the original factory GM spiral shocks all around. The right front fender was replaced with a NOS fender at some point way back when you could still buy NOS fenders from GM (the GM part number sticker is still attached to the inside of the fender panel). The fender seam up where it joins the windshield panel has rusted out a bit and it has some light surface rust on the top panels (great patina for the rat-rod look!) but otherwise, it's a clean rust-free car and the undercarriage is very clean. The right rear quarter panel was also damaged and repaired with bondo from the same collision that resulted in the front fender replacement. That's the only body damage on the car. Only other issue is the windshield has a few cracks. Car comes with 16" IROC wheels/tires + the original 13 wheels/newer tires included. I just have too many projects so I'm letting this one go.
