This one is a stationary hardtop, which makes it easily accessible to walk through at any time. I was told the hardtop was built by Bob Scott Rv in Colorado and that is why it has a rebuilt title. I have already done a Carfax and it is clean and clear of any accidents. I have a clear, open title in my name. I have driven the van about 100 miles total and it drove great on the freeway. It has great power, smooth and quiet also. I drive it around our shop weekly. I do not know the mpg because I have not driven it a full tank or tried to figure it out. You can web search Astro provan tiger gas mpg and go from there. I am selling because we bought a class c motor home to fit the family a little better.MECHANICAL-- 6 cylinder motor starts right up every time and sounds great. Runs, drives and shifts very well, feels solid, and is quiet. This is a true 4x4 with hi-low. The 4x4 was done by Advanced Transmission in Salt Lake City at some point in its life. I took the van to two different mechanics and had them look over the vehicle completely. I specified that I wanted the vehicle to be completely inspected for a long distance trip. We ended up replacing the O2 sensor wires, oil cooler lines, and connections, he also did an oil change. The only thing they recommended after the work they completed, was to have the tires replaced. They have excellent tread and no checking or cracks on the side, although they are 12 years old. I would consider them not safe and should be replaced. I have not replaced them myself because I am leaving that up to the new owner for their choice on size, tread etc. The prior owner said when she had purchased it there had been $1200 in work done to it. Things such as belts, fuel pump and other deferred maintenance and upkeep from sitting. The engine itself looks very clean inside. It has air-conditioning but is not working and most likely needs recharged. The dimmer knob for the dashboard lights works, but is loose and needs to be secured.
BODY/CHASSIS-- The body is in very good condition. There are no dents in the main body or hardtop. There are some small dings here and there but that's it. The paint is in average condition. I painted the hubcaps and front and rear bumper. The hard top is Aluminum with insulation and is straight and not wavy. You can tell that it was done by professionals. The previous owner had sealed the roof and there has not been one leak at all since I have owned it. There's a brand new roof vent up front, which is also wired if you ever want to connect a fan. The ladder on the back is solid and does not move around. All of the windows throughout the whole van open and close. The gas cap door works as it should, but looks like there had been a repair or something done with screws around it at some point. The screen on the door is coming out in a few places. There is a tow hitch with a trailer light plug for a bike rack, storage box etc... the chassis is clean underneath with no rust. There's heavy duty springs on the back and I have a pamphlet for those. The frame, exhaust, components and wheel wells all look to be in very good shape. The outside dimensions: 104" tall ground to roof top. Rack, vents may be add a few inches. Width is 81" measured on the back. Length is 190" long bumper to bumper.
INTERIOR-- In original nice condition. The headliner is being held up by tacks because it is sags. The right side of the dashboard has cracks but is easily covered up. The seats and couch are not stained and look good. Overall the carpet is really nice too, a good cleaning and it would look close to new. All of the doors and cabinets function properly. There is quite a bit of storage inside this unit. There are some trim pieces on the wood that you could replace, easily found at local RV stores. All around only a few blemishes here and there, as you can see in the pics and video. The wood on the upper bed could be replaced because it looks to have gotten wet at some point. As I said before, I've never had a leak and there are no signs if water damage on anything but this piece of wood. It wouldn be an easy fix, just a cut new piece to shape and screwed back in. All of the side walls and base is aluminum and looks fine.
APPLIANCES/SYSTEMS-- All of the ceiling lights, bathroom light, outside door light, and kitchen lights work great. I added water to the freshwater tank and also hooked up the direct water line with a hose to test and both systems function properly. The sink, toilet, and shower all function properly with direct water and/or electric water pump, no leaks. Before the freshwater tank can be used again a new on/off drain valve must be put on because the original one cracked from drying out. The valve goes on the outside rear of the van and is about a 1' of plastic water line, easy fix. It has a fan-tastic fan in the rear roof vent that it works correctly. The three burner stove, forced air heater with thermostat, hot water heater, and fridge all work. It's fully self contained, all tested and working. Fridge operates perfect on gas, it gets to exact temperature using a thermometer. On Electric it is only getting down to 55 and the freezer is working properly.
OVERALL-- Low mile, true 4x4 fully equipped camper van in great original condition. Completely looked over by a mechanic, it runs and shifts smoothly. Things you will want to replace are tires, new coach battery, driver side exterior door handle, and emergency flasher knob.
