Chevrolet Other 1957 Description
This is a restoration/ratrod project. 500 CI Cadillac Engine and Turbo 400 transmission are installed. I have the transfer case but it needs to installed. Needs all wiring. Dual exhaust is in place. I have the front bumper and grill and all the trim pieces and a set of bench seats that could be used. No fuel tank. Needs side glass. I do have shocks and mounts for dual shocks. This is a project car that will make heads turn once it is complete. I do have a clean title for it also. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and arrangements. I can take pictures of anything you want to see and email them to anybody interested. The engine and transmission are out of a 75 Cadillace Fleetwood Brougham that was bought from an impound yard. It had just over 100K miles and was bought from Desert Truck and Auto In Yucca Valley about 3 years ago. The guy I bought it from put the engine in the car and ran the exhaust. He said the timing chain cover and valve covers where freshly removed when he got it so he assumes some work was done to it. He built the carb and had it running after installation. Also, e cranked the fly wheel recently to make sure it wasn't seized. I was going to run some wiring and try to start it but the price will go up if I do all that. The seats are out of a 76 Chrysler Town Country Wagon and he said they will fit the car. He also told me he had the gas tank out of the Blazer that would work in it. He wants $100 bucks for the tank, uard and sending unit.
