Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1956 Description

Available for auction is a very restorable 1956 Chevrolet 210 4 door station wagon. I purchased this car in 2003 with the intent of doing a restoration and making it a 'family cruiser'. Thanks to 2009, that did not happen and it has simply been sitting around since then. I have decided now I the time to sell it to someone who wants a reasonably easy restoration.
The car has a verifiable history in Arizona for the last 40 years. With that being said, the only rust is located on the front passenger door, right front fender, and the lower tailgate. Enlarge the pictures and you will see it is very minimal. The rust is not salt water based and was fresh water collection that did not drain which existed when I bought the car almost 14 years ago. The body is really in fantastic shape with no rust on the driver side at all, the roofline, cowl, or rear quarters. The floors are also solid.
The car ran well a couple years ago but has been sitting, so it will need a fuel system cleaning to bring back to life. It has a 6 cylinder engine with a manual 3 speed transmission. It will run and drive with a little elbow grease.
The interior is complete, but also in need of restoration. The headliner is complete and the rear seat is nice. The door panels and front seat are complete but in need of restoration. Overall, I would consider this car to be a very solid starting point for a restoration.
I have recently seen these cars rusty and in pieces, and missing pieces, for the same price as my asking price. When this car is restored it has the potential to be worth well north of 35k. I would do it myself, but I don't currently have the resources to do it justice.
I will be glad to take additional photos of specific areas if requested. If you have a feedback of less than 10, please let me know so that I can approve you. Please do not bid unless you are serious....I will go through proper channels for bidders unwilling to Complete the transaction. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I would like to see the car go to a good home and have someone care for it like it deserves to be.
Thank you for looking, and keep in mind, there is NO RESERVE!
