Chevrolet Chevelle 1967 Description

Bought my Chevelle at the 1990 spring Carlisle, a., wap meet, ecoming the first owner outside of North Carolina. Have complete ownership history from North Carolina DMV, ll twenty of them. Also, ave invoices for engine rebuilds, arts installed, yno results, nd transmission rebuild. ENGINE: '72 BB 402, hich was in car when I bought it, ince bored out to 414ci., eak dyno readings were 458 lbs/ft @ 3000 rpm, 32 hp @5900, oller cam & rockers, olley carb, nbsp;Edelbrock intake, nbsp;Mallory Dist, SD coil, SD 6AL 6000rpm limiter installed. Dist cap, oil, AL all painted black (don't like the look of red items on engine, ame for colored spark plug wires), nbsp;B Cool rad., ooker Super Comp headers. DRIVETRAIN: Turbo 400, nbsp;3000 stall speed converter, 2 bolt rear, oug Moser c-clip axles, 73 Richmond street grind gears, owertrax carrier. Never had any desire to go to a drag strip to see what it would do, o it has never been raced under my ownership. UNDER CARRIAGE: Body off frame restoration, nbsp;rebuilt front end, nbsp;replaced all springs, tainless brake lines, ebuilt brakes (new master cylinder with silicon brake fluid, nbsp;replaced body mounts (of course). INTERIOR: Headliner, arpet, ear seat covers replaced, nbsp;side panels in excellent, s new condition, reshened up dash panel, nbsp;AM radio not working, ever used it anyway, nbsp;console clock works but they never kept good time, nbsp;speedo was rebuilt to reflect engine mileage (but with 15" wheels instead of OEM 14", eads about 10/15 mph faster than you're actually going (and probably increased mileage reading too). BODY: As body was lifted off frame, nderside and frame were stripped clean and refinished in 85% flatted black, ny rust was properly repaired or panel replaced, nbsp;any replaced panels were properly MIG welded in place. Painted in OEM Bolero Red lacquer, as painted Porsche red when I bought it, o stayed with red finish. Firewall tag indicates car was originally white with black vinyl top. Paint was applied 3 coats, coats, coats, olor sanded after each set of applications, nbsp;finally color sanded and buffed by hand, o swirl marks. Owned this car for 25 years, o over time you change things, ent back through my records and memory, nd this list is the best I can provide. If I missed anything it was not intentional. I'm 71 years old now, ime to let a younger person take over. Thanks for your consideration.
