Chevrolet Camaro 1968 Description

This gorgeous show car is being sold at NO RESERVE. highest bidder will have one of the nicest Camaros in the world. There are over 160 detailed pictures of this beauty if you don't see them please scroll down in the text box. thanks! You are bidding on an absolutely flawless 1968 Camaro Convertible that underwent an extremely high dollar nut and bolt rotisserie restoration back to original. This is a show car. you could honestly eat off of it. its that clean. It almost always takes first place it is one of those cars that is almost too nice to drive but was built to do so if someone desires. It has 138k documented original miles and only 500 miles since the complete restoration a little over a year ago. Paint and body are about as close to perfect as you can get I would say 9. 9 out of 10. Very deep shine. no rust. no waves. no bondo. just a show quality paint job. Car was a factory Matador red and repainted the correct color as suck with white convertible top. Car was originally ordered with a black convertible top but the white seemed more eye appealing with the white bumblebee stripe. It gets tons of people gathered around it at any show I take it too and is always the center of conversation. Engine is the original all matching numbers completely rebuilt 327 2V as is the Muncie 4-speed. and rear. Engine was completely gone through and everything was rebuilt to factory specs. All original NOS parts were used to insure a correct period build. Vintage A/C was added as a luxury for the hot Florida sun and blows ice cold and will absolutely freeze you out. Interior was originally black deluxe code 714 and completely restored as such. New seats front and rear with hardware and foam. new gauges. new dash pad. new carpet. new heat insulation. new top. new sill plates. new sun visors. new A/C controls. new switches and knobs. new door panels. new wiring harness. everything works. lights. turn signals. gauges. idiot lights. wipers. horn. Everything was replaced if it unbolted it was replaced with NOS. Power top was all redone and looks like new as well. Aftermarket correct looking radio was added with USB and CD player installed in trunk to listen to some tunes while cruising with the top down. Suspension and steering were all redone with new shocks. new control arms. new power steering box and components. new power steering pump. new springs. new bushings. new tie rods. once again everything that could be replaced was done. Brakes were all redone and car stops very well for being all drum. which is how it was ordered. Car is equipped with power steering and you can steer it with ease. New correct factory exhaust with flowmaster installed to give it a nice rumble with cruising into the shows. Wheels and tires are new with the factory rallys all restored and new 14" tires. and it rides like a dream. Underneath is as spotless as you will find. all original with no rust. holes. patches. or cover-ups. Trunk is spotless as well with correct full size spare and all the jack hardware. with the CD player mounted so it is out of sight. I will let the pictures do the talking from here but this is by far one of the nicest 1st gen Camaros I have ever seen and I challenge anyone to find one nicer because you probably wont. Words cannot describe the quality of the restoration. every nut and bolt was replaced. pictures do not even do this car justice. it was restored to pretty much how it would have rolled off the assembly line in 1968 with a few tasteful mods such as the A/C and Radio. If you have been searching for a show car. then look no further. This muscle car drives as nice as it looks and could be driven cross-country if one desired. just be prepared for hour long conversations at every gas station. Any questions call Frank at 863-381-3499 and I can tell you more about this stunning muscle car. thanks for viewing. Car is sold AS-IS where is with no warranties expressed or implied. Car is as advertised with local inspections welcome. Inspections must be scheduled before the auction ends. cleared payment due within 7 days unless previous arrangements have been made. Good luck bidding and remember this is a NO RESERVE auction the high bidder at the end will own this show car.
